She was up 5-4 (I think) and served for the match and got broken to love. Then she was up 4-0, then 6-3 in the tiebreak, then 7-6, and she ended up losing it.

Watched practices yesterday at the Rogers Cup. Petz and Benneteau were hitting on the court right in front of my nose. At one point a ball from the neighboring court rolled in. Benneteau kicked it back to the player it came from (don't remember who that was). He thanked for the returned ball and then added: "You could be on the French football team." :EVILLE:

 at that Megi. I saw Dickie Gasquet lost so ((hugs))

Jennifer Capriati is in Croatia visiting Iva Majoli. Unfortunately, she's also been photographed with cocaine residue in her nostrils :( :scream:

Rezai upset by [Q]Jovanovski..saw her play JJ and she hits HARD. She just needs some sort of net game.

There's a rain delay at the Roger's Cup in Toronto. I really hope it doesn't last long and they can complete today's matches because I'm supposed to go tomorrow night and see Roger Federer play and tomorrow is the only day I can go this year since I'm leaving for Hartford the next day. It's my dream to see Federer play live at least once....if I miss this chance I will be :wuzrobbed

Well considering Capriati is there visiting Majoli its not at all surprising to hear she's been photographed with cocaine showing in her nostrils! ;)

Iva's a MAJOR partygirl. Hope she can be a good influence on Jenn at this time though.

Ugh, Rezai! :(

Why do I like the headcases? Vika is up 62, 53, serves for it twice! and loses. Now she's down a break in the third. Who does she think she is, Kuznetsova?!

And it's against Ivanovic, of all people, who is was hitting UE after UE.

Yesterday in qualifying at Cincinnati Kimiko Date played Jill Craybas and defeated her. I believe their combined ages is 75. Wonder if that's the oldest pairing ever for a WTA event? I "think" Date is 40 now and Craybas is 35.

Kudos to Canada, Peter Polansky defeated Jurgen Melzer in the 1st rd in Toronto.

No comment on the young Canadians Posposil and Raonic taking down Nadal and Djokovic in doubles?

I know it's not their specialty but still an upset. Djokovic did not look comfortable out there at all and the Canadians targeted that.

It was a fun match to watch.

I'm hoping Dancevic can win today vs. Wawrinka. His prize if he does is a date with Nadal.

Rock2 and I were there yesterday and it was a ton of fun!

It was obvious, throughout the match and especially the match breaker, that Nole and Rafa didn't want to worry about the 2nd round doubles match. They got what they wanted - court time, good PR, and the tournament is probably still counting the cash.

The singles match last night was such a blast, from a Canadian perspective. Polansky really played out of his mind and hit many unbelievable winners (big forehand). I was really happy to see it. Yay for Polish-Canadians. :cheer:

After the matches concluded we were treated to a :kickass: pyrotechnic show by Cirque du Soleil on centre court. Such a perfect evening.
