I was wondering how they knew he was dead if no body or wand was found. But they made no mention of a tomb for V either.

They didn't know that he was dead but they were celebrating like he was. Dumbledore was already working out a plan for Voldemort's return because he knew better.

Most of the wizard world just hoped and lived in denial. DD said all along he wasn't dead.

He could have verified that Peter was telling the truth by looking into his mind.
True, but what if they changed their plans after making Peter Secret Keeper? The Potters could have decided to hide elsewhere, making someone else their secret keeper for the new location.

Given Voldemort's tendency to take out his rage on minions, I could see him keeping Peter nearby in case something didn't go right. That way, he could lash out immediately.

On another note, my kids linked me to "A Very Potter Musical."

Pettigrew was not with Voldemort, that is very clear from DH.

I LOVE AVPM. The girl who plays Draco is FANTASTIC.

AVPM is greatness defined (or at the very least, it's incredible). ^Agreed, Draco is fantastic. When I first watched it I was almost crying with laughter at times!

AVPM is hilarious. I had only seen bits an pieces of it until I got bored one day and YouTubed the whole thing, plus a Very Potter Sequel. The girl that plays Draco is amazing.

When we were camping out in line to see DH2 at midnight, two girls - one playing Draco and the other playing Ron - put on a show for all of us, walking around the line and performing "I'm in Love with Hermione Granger." They were also a bit tipsy may I add.

AVPM is classic. :) And it's really the first thing you can point to in terms of Darren Criss. Now he's taking over for Daniel Radcliffe in H2S; how awesome is that?! Potter to Potter!

Watched this a few minutes ago. So touching and made me tear up seeing all of them hug and say goodbye from that experience.

I totally didn't cry. Especially not when the trio was crying and group hugging. :shuffle:

I was totally NOT crying until Emma Watson practically started bawling. The hug got me in the end...
