If you want to be thoroughly spoiled for DH Part 1, there was a preview screening in Chicago a few weeks ago. There are some reviews here (http://www.mugglenet.com/movies/movie7/dh_review.shtml) and here (http://www.mugglenet.com/movies/movie7/deathly-hallows-review-3.shtml).

I couldn't resist!

There's a new trailer for Part I (http://harrypotter.warnerbros.com/harrypotterandthedeathlyhallows/index.html)!

It looks like it will be really good, and it's only 2 months away now!

I just ordered my IMAX tickets! I could only get them for the 20th though... I guess I'll be on full media lockdown starting midnight on the 19th. I already know what happens bookwise of course, but if the movie sucks I don't wanna know ahead of time! (The tickets are nonrefundable.)

Since I'll be traveling to another city to watch, I won't see it on opening night. But I will as soon as humanly possible! Seeing it here is out of the running. When we went to the opening of Half Blood Prince, the A/C was broken and it was the middle of July. With the threatre packed and management unwilling to open the side doors, it was just horrible... I could hardly concentrate on the movie.

Quote from Emma talking about the last scene and how the 3 of them hugged one another and sobbed :(

It's going to be weird when the last movie is released and it's all over. Sort of like the Lord of the Rings trilogy. It was sad when it came to an end.

Wait. When do Harry and Hermione kiss?

It's when Ron is under the influence of the locket. I don't think it's written in the book that explicitly (or maybe not at all), but I think making it a visual for the movie fits.

btw - anyone else thinking, that with all of the clips we've seen, we don't actually need to go to the movie? I feel like I've seen the whole thing!

And I wasn't totally sure if they really kissed in that part, too, so I looked. They do kiss.
