 What's happening with all these ladies lurking in the locker rooms? First Angie, now la reina...
Sparky, does "huy" mean something specific in Spanish? Because it's an uncensored word in Bulgarian and your post got me spitting all over my computer :D Penis, cock, dick and all that? :P

 sorry
It´s just an interjection, and usually associated to pain or surprise - for example a long huuuuuy, is usual in sport language for missing chances- in this context is more related to that second sense but with some naughtiness associated like "danger, danger/ take care, take care" or "we´re not going to say anything, but in what a situation you put yourself!" or at least I understood it like that. Maybe is just my :EVILLE: mind
I believe that they said :" Puyi, Puyi, Puyi" not huyy, huyyyyyy :confused:

It´s well known that learning bad stuff is very important to dominate a foreign language , so it minimizes social missteps ;)

It could be. Maybe you have a better hear than me, I´ve confessed that I´m musicality deaf before :shuffle:, but in that case I must say that they have a great ability to make two syllables sound like one. Must be all the tiki-taka (constant, and for some people endless, passing ball) ;)
They showed a sketch during our news - it looks like it will be pretty :)
I saw it and seemed very nice :)
All the Paul related FB groups/statuses are cracking me up.
 They should be considering to sell Paul merchadising, he´s is a star!

Are you serious? I have a Vietnamese friend whose name is Huy. And he knows Russian and lived in Russia for a year. Wonder how he survived. :D

Paul is THE most famous entity of this World Cup. When coaches and players mention him in their press conferences, it takes  to a new level. As of today, he has a wikipedia page (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paul_the_Octopus) in 25 different languages.

"Paul holds a press conference"
Well, I prefer Paul as 2010 World Cup biggest icon than the vuvuzelas, he´s cuter and less noisy :P

The best moment for me was yesterday,in the press conference on Spain; a journalist ask to player ( i believe that was Busquets) if he was happy of that Paul was predicting that Spain will win the world cup.
the player answered: It is an octopus...
At least someone has good sense... I can understand it like an anecdote but spend hours with an octopus seems ridiculous to me....

Puyol seriously needs to do something about the Bette Midler hair. :scream:
I´m afraid that will never happen :(
Some years ago, in the Spanish equivalent to April fools´ day, a Barcelona Newspaper published he had cut his hair cause a bet (http://www.sport.es/vivo/recursos/fotos/foto_261/foto_261284_CAS.jpg), it was a photo shop, and he commented later there was not champion title that would make him cut his hair.
It must be some kind of Samson fixation :shuffle:
