Queen Sofía of Spain (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Rf1cOdPzVU&feature=related) (with Plácido Domingo and some authorities) visited Spanish Team after the SF in the locker room

Best moments:

- Puyol´s post shower appearance while his fellows sing "huy, huy..."
- Plácido Domingo explaining Spanish coach, Vicente del Bosque, initial absence: "always in the shadow"
- all the floor cleaning efforts :shuffle:

Someone gets more touching than a handshake :D

OMG Casillas is soooooooo fine! Also I totally don't mean any disrespect but Queen Sofia seems to like a lovely and approachable Queen!

This story is cute, it's a pity the little fellow doesn't have a longer life expectancy, he sure makes an out of the ordinary icon.

Michel Platini collapses during dinner. (http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2010/jul/09/michel-platini-collapses-suspected-heart-attack)

Apparently it's not a heart attack as the article suspects. He's had the flu and they think he'll be out of the hospital in a couple of days.

Sparky, does "huy" mean something specific in Spanish? Because it's an uncensored word in Bulgarian and your post got me spitting all over my computer :D

 sorry

It´s just an interjection, and usually associated to pain or surprise - for example a long huuuuuy, is usual in sport language for missing chances- in this context is more related to that second sense but with some naughtiness associated like "danger, danger/ take care, take care" or "we´re not going to say anything, but in what a situation you put yourself!" or at least I understood it like that. Maybe is just my :EVILLE: mind

Paul's new prediction :)
Germany will win on Saturday and Spain will be World champion

Well, Holland supporters must consider that Paul is more used to predict German National team matches, so probably this was very disconcerting for him, missing German flag, and of course he failed the last European Final. And what is more important: I don´t want Spain to feel relaxed cause Amazing Paul prediction ;)

This morning at work I was checking Spanish newspapers in the net (Sometimes I check FSU too, but, please, don´t tell :shuffle: ) and was completely shocked they were showing live! Paul´s prediction.

Yeah, apparently there's a bug going around. Both Flick and Löw were sick; Löw couldn't be at the training session today since he was in bed with a high fever. Let's hope he's alright tomorrow and so are all of the players.
Müller said that in the press conference that they'll go out tomorrow and play their best. Let's hope that as well. (and maybe, just maybe they're going to change their mind and come to Berlin after all... we can hope for that, too ;) )

WTH Dos Santos??? Why is he even mentioned? He's a great young prospect, but he underperformed in the tournament.

Muller is a lock for this award, and in four years I wouldn't want to play the Germans...
