That was an intense second half. Congrats to the Oranje and their fans.

Poor Felipe Melo, managed to sink Brazil with his huge mistakes. An own goal and then a red card. Most unfortunate substitute decision by Dunga ever? :(

I really thought Brazil would have won this, especially after the first half.

Congratulations to Holland. At least one European team in the semis! :cheer2:

I haven't watched football/soccer for years, but I decided to watch the last half of this game. I figured I was watching an upset in the making, but I thought Netherlands was really outplaying Brazil in the second half.

Netherlands has a really good chance of being in the finals now. Now if only Spain can get through, that'd be perfect!!!

For clarification, the player with the own goal and red cardwas Felipe Melo, who started. The substitute for Bastos was Gilberto Melo.

I almost fear for Melo's safety after this game  .I'm glad Brazil lost though, I'm sick of them being favorites all the time and then coming up with pretty unspectacular football.

Good for Holland, they sure wasted some goal opportunities by the end, I wonder if the players(in general, not just them) are having trouble managing this bouncy ball, often it seems they can't control it as well as they should...

They did. Which was surprising, because Brazil totally out played them in the first half.
