David Oliver. :grope:
He's such a beast! Especially those humongous shoulders :grope:

Just like Bolt, he looks so physically larger than the other competitors in the field.

World Juniors are under way in Moncton. Genevieve Lalonde, who is from Moncton, broke her PB by 30 seconds in the 3000 s/c heat.

The results are STILL incomplete. I know Canadians like to take their time, but this is ridiculous.

Maybe they need to get that slam poet to motivate them. :saint:

By the way, I was looking at some of the entry lists and their is a 400m hurdler from Trinidad & Tobago called Sparkle McKnight. Best. Name. Ever.

Had to laugh at the alternative results link and the way some of the print outs were scanned. Let's hope they learn how to keep the pages straight or else I'll be getting a crick in my neck from reading them.

I was glad it wasn't upside down, definitely someone was having a really bad day at track side and wanted to be done with it.

Marlene Ottey is still racing at the age of 50! She is now competing for Slovenia and will be part of their 4 x 100 team for the European Championships.

The American athletes were pretty amazing in Monaco!

They just keep churning out super talented middle distance runners these days. It's so, un American of them.

Johnson (w800m) and Wheating (m1500m) are potential London champions in my opinion.

But HOLY SHIT, I wish I was Australian right now. That 20 year old running 3'30 for 1500m Un fcking REAL! Beteween him and Wheating, I just can't fathom what kind of times they could run when they get stronger/older/more experienced.

I'm totally gonna spend a full day stalking Ottey in Barcelona. I'm not actually sure if she'll turn up however, despite being named to the team. Fingers crossed.....

Ah, I'm sure she'll get a senior discount for the bus to get there. ;)

Watched an online feed of World Juniors last night with Canadian commentator and Mike Powell. Powell was completely unPC and said how nice it was to see attractive women competing in the heptathlon because they all used to be more manly when he was an athlete.
