LOL Oooooh Orser was PO'd at Adam last night! Whoa! He was P'd! Prolly frustrated that he's no longer the center of attention now that his star pupil is gone (no more James Bond commercials!:HA!:), and I know Adam had a rough skate...but don't take it out on my Adam!!!

Do worry Adam, we still love u! :saint: And here's the hug u deserved!!! *hugs*

I haven't checked youtube yet. Is Adam's performance up? I'm kind of intrigued: I was SURE Adam was going to pick up a second bronze. :/

Yes, I think most of the skaters' programs are up, you just have to search their names and look for the recent videos, there's this one account that uploads DURING the competition haha

Crossing my fingers that Armin gets an invite to France. That would be so great for him to get a second event. Though I'm doubtful it will happen because why would the French invite a skater who just medalled at Skate America when they have their own men hoping to qualify for the GPF.

As a hopeless Koffeholic, I'm curious about Kristoffer Berntsson's chances of being chosen. Will the French federation be more inclined to pick someone higher up the SB list?

I would love to see Armin at TEB! Who's left?

It's a tough bunch at TEB:

233.51 KOZUKA, gold from CoC
218.65 REYNOLDS, 4th from SC
216.80 MROZ, silver from CoC
213.77 AMODIO, bronze from NHK
210.29 JOUBERT, 4th from CoC

The French men are already up against it.

Blanc/Bouquet (FRA) are out of both Cup of Russia and TEB:

:( :inavoid:

This reduces the COR and TEB dance fields to 8 instead of 10.

And as Sylvia pointed out, Ivana Reitmayerova has been removed from the COR entries:
http://www.isuresults.com/events/cat00007096.htm

10 ladies instead of 12.
ETA: updated on the pdf as well:

Possible replacements for Brezina at TEB

Can't be a French man, they already have 3 entries.

If there is a replacement, it will most likely be a man that already has/had a GP assignment. The frontrunner is Mahbanoozadeh because of his medal at SA.

Men eligible for a second GP assignment (listed in order of 2009-10 SB rank)
(1) Jinlin Guan CHN - 36 SB (CHN)
(1) Stephen Carriere USA - 37 SB (USA)
(1) Grant Hochstein USA - 38 SB (CAN)
(1) Armin Mahbanoozadeh USA - SB 42 (USA)
(1) Kristoffer Berntsson SWE - SB 43 (CAN)
(1) Paolo Bacchini ITA - 45 SB (CAN)
(1) Daisuke Murakami JPN - 46 SB (USA)
(1) Viktor Pfeifer AUT - 49 SB (USA)
(1) Yasuharu Nanri JPN - 60 SB (CAN)
(1) Zoltan Kelemen ROU - 73 SB (FRA)

I'd say that Armin would be the most logical. But you never know.

Amodio's even rival (?) isn't a logical choice for France. Joubert can still qualify for GPF if he wins, as same as past two seasons.

New day, new withdrawals. :(

Voronov (RUS) is also out of TEB.

Borodulin (RUS) has been replaced by Ivan Tretiakov (RUS) at Cup of Russia.

There are going to be no skaters left by the time we get to Paris. More time in the bar then! Wheee! :40beers:

I agree. Armin could potentially beat both Amodio and Joubert at TEB and clearly the French fed would not want that, considering their two best male skaters currently still have a shot at making the GPF.
