Looks like Anna and Luca are out of Skate America, who will replace them, if anyone?

:( They are likely changing their programs.

Id like Guan/Wang for Skate America. I like them better than Reed/Japaridze

:(

As expected. It's still sad, though.

I say yes to that.

Both of their programs are very original and really stand out.

I have lots of respect for them for not giving up after being ditched by the federation last season and improving so much.

I just noticed today (I did a search so I believe this is new) that there's an open pairs spot at TEB. It looks like Ivanova/Zalevski of Bulgaria have withdrawn. Hopefully there's still time for them to be replaced.

Hope Stolbova/Klimov get the spot, they were great during the JGP...

Thanks Stephanie.

That is a shame.

Hopefully they are "just" injured and did not quit or split.

They made a huge deal of progress last season.

Yes!

Love them. Maybe if they impress in Russia they'll get it.

It would be so funny if both Sui/Han and Stolbova/Klimov made both JGP and GP finals.

I wonder how ISU would react and if they would change the rules for next season.

Anna Knychenkova/Mark Magyar have been entered to TEB.

There is still one open spot.

I can't see candidates better than Stolbova/Klimov at this stage.

Anna and Mark haven't even met the min qual for an ISU comp..

This is what I posted in the TEB thread, I'm hoping someone in France who decides who gets to go will read it and will finally send a French pair!

So France invited
Ivanova/Zalevski -scored 106.31 at Euros as their highest score all season and didn't make the cut for freeskate at worlds.
Kostenko/Talan -Just scored 94.61 at Coupe de Nice
Kadleckova/Bidar -Junior team scoring 117.72 as highest on the JGP
Hecht/Trefil -Split last season and withdrew from worlds, status unknown. Highest international score last year was 107.17

And left these French teams to watch
Adeline Canac/Yannick Bonheur -He's an Olympian, she top 10 at Euros, and after a short time together got a respectable 122.05 at Masters
Mélodie Chataignier/Mehdi Bouzzine -Seem to be left off any international even after they skate well. Scored 109.71 at Masters. 117.82 last year and still got nothing.
Anne Laure Letscher/Bruno Massot - New team scored 105.76 in their first comp at Masters.
 :argue: :wall: :angryfire

What's up with France inviting all the OES? I doubt they will compete. The LOC seems to have a tendency to register competitors before even checking if they are interested!
