Thanks for the updates!

Looks like it's almost certainly too late to fill the empty Pairs spot at NHK Trophy. :(

Yeah. Frustrating when there are so many pairs that probably would have liked a second GP assignment. :wall:
Injuries happen. (a lot of them!)

I notice Min-Jeong Kwak is still listed for CoC. Does anyone know the status of her back injury and if in fact she does intend to compete in China?

Stefania Berton was ill during the last weeks. Now she is recovering well. The pair will be competing in the Cup of Russia.

Have we ever run out of alternates before? Could well happen!

Lol, that would be both sad and funny...

Min-Jung passed Level 8 test (the highest test level in Korea) on Oct 19. Considering a skater needs to land at least three different types of triples in a free program to pass the test, Min-Jung's back injury seems to be more or less under control. Kwak is also scheduled to be in Korea's Ranking Competition over Oct 29~30 before she heads to China for CoC and then SA. Three competitions in Korea, China, and US in three consecutive weeks! Min-Jung cannot skip the Ranking Competition if she wishes to be considered for the Winter Asian Games and Universiade, and also make Korea's national team again next year.

Oh ok, that sounds encouraging. Good luck to her!
