Yeah, those are actually really nice costumes for Miss Saigon.

 I can't picture Taylor Toth looking like a hillbilly!!

I don't quite get "hillbilly" from those photos, but that may be because I know I'm looking at photos of a Miss Saigon program and he's playing Chris.

Well he's wearing an oversized shirt in an ugly cut and an ugly colour badly tucked into his trousers = hillbilly on a night out. ;)

Although as I said, the costumes look much much better in the photos that HisWeirness linked to. ;)

Are there Euro-hillbillies? Because I prefer to think of it as a North American thing, and I believe that rude Euros should not comment on our white trash. They should stick to belittling the chavs ;):D

Oh, and P.S. While I don't think that Taylor could ever be a hillbilly, he is from Kittaning, PA, and he would have lots of reference points should he decide to start going that route.

Samuelson/Bates' two Grand Prix assignments are NHK (#1) and TEB (#6). The following was posted in the NHK Entries thread:

Next in line for the opening in dance (:() would be:

Teams on the Alternates List looking for a second GP assignment (SB ranking and SB are given, first GP assignment in parentheses)

(1) 35 153.77 Isabella CANNUSCIO / Ian LORELLO USA (CHN)
(1) 36 153.50 Rachel TIBBETTS / Collin BRUBAKER USA (CAN) have Skate Canada the week after NHK
(1) 52 145.91 Penny COOMES / Nicholas BUCKLAND GBR - NHK already at NHK
(1) 63 139.29 Dora TUROCZI / Balazs MAJOR HUN (TEB)
(1) 73 131.44 Xueting GUAN / Meng WANG CHN (CHN)

and

Teams on the Alternates List looking for an initial assignment
59 141.61 Carolina HERMANN / Daniel HERMANN GER - possibly taking Fall GP season off? (http://www.fsuniverse.net/forum/showpost.php?p=2840054&postcount=89)
70 132.32 Allison REED / Otar JAPARIDZE GEO

everyone else on the list is retired, split, or taking time off.

Same situation for TEB, just unstrike Coomes/Buckland and strike Turoczi/Major because they are already at TEB.

Logic says give Cannuscio/Lorello NHK and Tibbetts/Brubaker TEB. This would also maintain the number of USA GP dance spots.

However, I could see Coomes/Buckland getting TEB and maybe Reed/Japaridze getting NHK or some other variation.

One would think that Mr. and Mrs. Reed would contact the JSF and ask them to invite their daughter. Their placement will not challenge the JPN Reeds, but it will do much in the way of supporting them at the same time.

This is very similar to what I was thinking, because of the Reed Family connection with the JSF (although, I think I remember reading somewhere about some strain between the family and JSF when it comes to financial support).

I hope the Georgians get one of the open slots. It would be nice exposure for a developing team.

Well in UK you have chavs and there is a Polish word for them too. But Toth is American. ;)

Coming back to the actual GP discussion ;) I remember Reed badmouthing JSF and their lack of support in the media. So I wouldn't think she's on good terms with them.

I hope the spots go to Coomes/Buckland and Japaridze/Reed.
