Pluschenko, Zars, Zadorozhnjuk, Meier, Inoue/Baldwin.... ah, wait, Inoue/Baldwin did not retire :P

There seems to be some confusion over who has retired and who has not.

Also, Rachael and Caroline face each other twice. So it's unlikely both of them will make the Final.

John is going to skate without a shirt. :yikes:

it is unlikely that caroline will make the final anyway or play a role at all.

i agree, allezfred, that teb is a bit disappointing. but then the actual field will likely look very different when all the retired or undecided skaters withdraw

Where is Ponsero? and where is Evan :P? and why do we have John Baldwin on the roster?
I'm glad that all 3 spots for French ladies are going to be used and that Candice Didier will skate!
James/Coia! :cheer2:
as for the TBA spot for Japan in ice dance - don't they have one more couple? are Hirai/Mizutani senior eligible?

oh, one more remark: only 2 Russian ladies mentioned so far  - that looks really depressing. so who will take the last available spot during Rostelecom Cup? Doronina :P? Petushkova after a failure in ice dance :P?
Plushenko

It'll be the Reeds. I don't know what the TBA is all about there.

This announcement is like FILL THE BLANKS with whatever

Johnny and Pang Tong?
Where is Ponsero? :(:(:(
I thought some teams had broken up. And only Gachinksi went to seniors?I thought Dimitriev would also.
I m worried for RF crap, Plushenko went in Germany to fix his knees and has clearly said he wont compete next season, I thought Piseev would have heard it also :angryfire

Gozeva probably. She's not too bad. All those good Russian girls will be on JGP, which quite frankly is going to be way more exciting than the SGP, as it looks like Gao will be there too. No Joannie, Yuna may withdrawal, so GP gets filled with skaters like Fumie, Alissa, Gizmo, and Meier who really just need to retire. I'd rather see skaters like Dobbs or Kwak get 2 assignments than have spots filled by those skaters who are so clearly past their prime.

Cup of Russia:

Ladies: Myriane SAMSON, Elena GLEBOVA, Valentina MARCHEI, Miki ANDO, Akiko SUZUKI, Yu-Na KIM, Alena LEONOVA, Ksenia MAKAROVA, TBA RUS, Sarah MEIER, Ashley WAGNER, Agnes ZAWADZKI

Did you got it?
IF JR was in the list, it would be the full 6 entries of 2009 GPF in TOKYO.
