That was a lovely goal!

Klose makes it up after missing two to score a nice header.
ESPN commentators wuzrobbing Pretty Cahill's red card - they think there was no malice and he shoulda just gotten a yellow.

Iker Casillas (http://i45.tinypic.com/9abjv6.jpg)is so my #1 WC hottie (http://i47.tinypic.com/14x2jk8.jpg). Love him. Drool. (http://i45.tinypic.com/rqvln7.jpg)

:swoon: I still remember Iker Casillas at his very first WCH where he was barely out of his teenage years and yet he has demonstrated such a brilliance that all the commentators predicted him to be a major superstar and one of the best goalkeepers of the world very soon. I feel so old. :fragile:

“Soccer is a game for 22 people that run around, play the ball, and one referee who makes a slew of mistakes, and in the end Germany always wins.”

 All fine for me! I'm rooting for Germany, France and Italy at the championships. :cheer:

ESPN commentators wuzrobbing Pretty Cahill's red card - they think there was no malice and he shoulda just gotten a yellow.

Our commentators said it was strict but not unfair, because Cahill went directly after Schweinsteiger's shin and not the ball, and apparently FIFA has told refs to be very strict about that.

Australia has played pretty dirty so far - 13 fouls committed vs. 5 by Germany.

Germany has missed some good chances in this half. Score could easily be 5-0 or so.

4-0! You can always count on Germany for goals :D

Germany putting all the reserves out and saving the starters for the next game.

Can hardly believe this is the same Germany that just got past Russia by one point to avoid the playoff against Slovenia. If they build upon this win maybe my prediction for the final four will be proven to be a bit off.

Texts from last night had a great one about the vuvuzelas:

You know what sound is wonderful for a hangover? Listening to the horns from the South Africans at the world cup

Is Germany going to win World Cup just like it did with ESC?!

Judging by today's game it is highly possible, but then again it could be that Australia is that weak...
And it's over - 4:0 to Germany! :cheer2:
