I do love that the crowd is actually louder than the vuvuzelas :D

Its time for FIFA to come out of the dark ages. Instant replay is badly needed in this sport. The refereeing at this World Cup has been terrible.

It seems Argentina is constantly on the attack. I bet they take out Germany in the next round.

Heinze is lucky not to have injured himself so far.

There will be in the future two exta officials to monitor the goal area. Hopefully that will help with some of the problems we have been having.

Argentina scores but Mexico is protesting.... Mexico must be careful or else half their team will be sent off! Messy goal for sure but Argentina will take it. LOL

That was off-side!!! what is it with these referees - amateurs all of them??? Scandal!

Yup, I think that goal should have been dismissed, still, I'm not complaining. Go Argentina!

Oh nooooooooo! Mexico's gotta get it together! This isn't really a done deal - cooler heads gotta prevail! But I do have to say, the Argentines are totally on a roll and that second goal was kind of fabulous :shuffle:

yeah, fabulous goal from Higuain :)

It is beyond me why FIFA did not allow a linesman behind the goals, like UEFA did last season. It would have prevented these ridiculous decisions. :duh:

I believe that in the future that is what will happen. There will be one extra official for each goal area.

This day is the best argument for instant replays.
Anyone think that (another) fight is sure to break out after this game is done?

Anyone think that (another) fight is sure to break out after this game is done? Who is actually against it? Cause players, coaches, fans, experts don't seem to be. Apart from the refs I can't see anyone being against it.

Those referees this year are just ridiculous. And even more ridiculous is that the FIFA said that the referees are doing a good job.

Two faulty decisions in one day... I hope the FIFA will learn from that. I doubt it though.

I loved the German comment on the second goal; the Mexican defense player didn't have just a black out but a power-outage. :D

It's just too bad this game has turned ugly :( I never noticed the Mexican team was so young

Argentina is the better team :)
