That very unpatriotic English octopus was right again!

He just tells the truth! ;)

England were woeful, but you can bet that the headlines in the English tabloids tomorrow will all say that England only lost because of the disallowed goal.

I honestly don't think they will. Yes, it was a shocking decision, and who knows how the match would have gone had it been 2-2 at half-time, but really we didn't deserve to win. On the BBC they're really playing the disallowed goal down, because overall, not just today but the whole world cup, we've been awful, and we didn't deserve to win today. All in all, we were shit and we got hammered. And I think we all know that. In fact the pundits are saying that we're lucky it wasn't 8-1 or something, and the common consensus is that the Lampard goal wouldn't have made too big a difference anyway; we just weren't good enough from the word go at this world cup.

England's coming home!!!

Sorry, couldn't resist ... ;)
Best football song ever! :)

No English players have dared coming out of the locker room yet. :shuffle:

I felt sorry for Lampard :( , the english played well up to a certain point but the germans completely slaughtered them. Shame about that goal, bad calls can happen to anyone...

Last I read Beckham is supposed to be doing mediation between the technical team and the players, whatever that means... :P , basically they wanted to have him at the World cup, I guess it goes well with advertisers, either that or they wanted to be even with the germans in terms of bench prettiness. I frankly think that Beckham is more ignorant than stupid, he was raised to play ball we can't expect much there.

I´m glad I wasn´t the only one to think about that :shuffle:

 Yeah, but I was thinking that he looks like a slightly inbred 40 year old gamekeeper, I kept expecting a grouse to show up somewhere.

LOL news just showed Merkel and Cameron watching the match together :shuffle: I guess they managed to keep a poker face ;)

joeperryfan, the word gamekeeper is mentally connected, for me, to Lady Chatterley´s lover, I refuse to link that to Rooney :scream: :P

I don't know who to root for - I love both these teams and want them both to go through!

Shallow moment: Rafa Marquez is still :swoon: even with short hair.
