So much for all the penalty kick practice, England. :shuffle:

This young German team really shows so much promise. Argentina will really be put to the test on Friday.

Saturday ;)
Argentina has been playing with their B-Team so far... some teams haven't fared well when doing so. I guess tonight we'll know more.

Beckham is co-coach, I think.

I'm not sure this is their World Cup, but by the next one? They could be huge. Özil and Müller have really impressed me.

And what lesson have we (and FIFA, hpefully) learned today?

Replays need to be available to the referees.

Lampard was the only one that played well for England, the rest of the team players were :blah: England will rather forget that humiliation.

OTOH, If Germany keeps on playing like this, then by all means it will deserve to be at the finals! Bravo! :respec:

Looking pretty. :grope: I admit he's good looking but whenever I see him, I can "hear" him and I also remember how stupid he is so...he does absolutely nothing for me :P

His track record is pretty impressive now, considering he had something like 6/7 at Euros 2008. I'll see what he predicts next and put my money accordingly.

What exactly is Beckham doing?
He is just sitting there looking pretty. I approve. ;)

Yeah, Deutschland, lucky, but well deserved after all!!! :cheer2: :cheer2:

As for England, with all my respect and empathy ...
they're coming home, they're coming home, they're coming ...
England's coming home!!!

Sorry, couldn't resist ... ;)

Zokko, you are very very German :P

Speaking of intelligence: Maradona really doesn't seem to be blessed with it either :shuffle:

Kind of glad that goal didn't matter in the end. I wouldn't want any team to win or lose because of a bad call.

That very unpatriotic English octopus was right again!

England were woeful, but you can bet that the headlines in the English tabloids tomorrow will all say that England only lost because of the disallowed goal.
