Well, we won, but this is much less than expected: I hardly think of anyone that bet less than 3x0 around here...
Really surprising from NK, those guys can run!

I'm also in a betting game and noone predicted a 2-1 ... most of us predicted 3-0 or more ;)

Kudos to NK for defending so well and  :cheer2: to Maicon for that goal! awesome!! :D

Oh, and maybe I'm 12, but every time the announcers said Elano, I giggled. :shuffle:

What's the money that North Korean TV edits Brazil's two goals out of the match? :P

It's all well and good, all very reasonable. Because of course :shuffle: the people would never wonder why their team didn't advance from round robin despite those three shut-outs.

 The Lego version of US/England (www.cnn.com/video/#/video/sports/2010/06/15/lego.world.cup.us.uk.theguardian?hpt=C2). Complete with the multiple replaying of Green's humiliation ... and of course the melodic chorus of vuvuzelas.

Security guards have gone on strike at about five WC stadiums leaving the police to take over security. The guards were hired by a private contractor and say they are not being paid what they were promised.

Health experts also are upset that companies like McDonald's, Coca-Cola, and Budweiser were allowed to be WC sponsors.
