I NEED Daisuke to repeat as world champ next year...it non-negotiable. :D His SP from last yr is my all time fav, only rivaled by the Techno swan from a couple years back. He is so versatile that he won't have a problem trying a new style or getting a new choreographer. Good for him.
Having said that I think Dai himself would make an amazing and voidy choreographer one day, too :respec: When he retires I look forward to see him try choreographing for the younger skaters.

Yes! This makes me very excited; I love Daisuke, he's my current favorite. Such a dynamic, powerful, and charismatic skater who really lets his skating speak for itself :3 And him working with Stephanie, one of the most artistically refined skaters just makes me very, very happy. The coming together of two magnificent artists :3

Daisuke is working this week with Pasquale here in Switzerland already. Next week with Stéphane.

Thanks for the news. :)

Edit: or not ;) in any case keep us updated on how Stephane's work with Takahashi will look like :)

Lambiel and Takahashi, two of the skaters I´ve enjoyed and adore the best, working together. Like a dream made true :cheer2:

Pity. :( It would have been really interesting for me to know a bit more about their work together.
Wishing to the boys lots of luck next week.

Oh, I'm always glad to find an excuse to visit beautiful Switzerland. But I'm afraid just coming to CH won't help me. :D

I have a slight hope that maybe some Swiss press will visit them...

By the way, thought about it now, how can they choreograph the competitive program before the ISU congress is over and all the rules are finally defined. Probably they will need to meet later again? Or someone else will adjust the program to the new rules?

Daisuke has a technical specialist in his team - he said he'd put together all spins for Daisuke's SP and FS in 09/10 season. He'll most likely do the same for this season's programmes, I believe.

Besides, Stephane's visitng Japan in July for the ice show - perhaps there is an opportunity for fine tuning then too?

That`ll be something incredible and marvellous! Just to see work, no matter if Takahashi won`t skate this SP

Someone posted on Livejournal that Lambiel paid a visit to Ten. Is Lambiel choreographing for Ten too?

Yes:

And here some more about Dai's program:

This is a story of a magical creature, who lives in the forest. He is in the nature permanently. There he meets, among others, butterflies. And also a monster. He is going to fight it. The straight line step sequence tells about this battle. Though the music is classical, the program is modern.

(I LOVE it already! :))
