I saw these on the TV last night. Just dreadful.

I think they must be paying homage to Dr Who. In that case they could have just made a David Tennant Mascot. Now that would be cute.

Mascots need to be more like Fatso the Fat-arsed wombat which was the unofficial Sydney mascot.

I saw the picture of the costumed mascots first and thought they were awful. But the cartoon is really nice and the T-shirts with the mascots look great !

Can mascots be called sterile? Because I feel like I have finally figured out what's wrong with them.

Best comment:"Not surprisingly, British design experts are outraged. "Patronizing, cretinous infantilism," said one. (British insults are always so deliciously visceral.)"

Well, what else could be produced by designers who live on the national London dish - cocaine?

I went to DisneyWorld as a child and I met all the characters (aka people dressed up in suits). I had fun, but I did not cry nor think it was the best day of my life. What terribly mundane lives those children that Tammy knows must live. :P

I'm glad I'm not the only one. I was beginning to think my weirdness was showing again. :shuffle:

Well not surprising seeing they come from the country that invented the Tellytubbies.
