Gerboldt/Enbert are having some difficulties (her) with jumps and pairs elements;
:wuzrobbed I actually thought the jumps would be the one thing she would NOT struggle with.

Thank you Kasey. Do you have any link to information or just a word of mouth?

Why would you think so? John Baldwin never had much trouble landing triple toes in a bajillion trips to US Nationals, but as a pairs skater he's had a lot of SBS jump problems, probably because his jump pattern and timing had to change.

I just thought John Baldwin missed his jumps because he was old and well his conditioning wasn't all that good. My bad.

She's always had trouble with her jumps, though. I don't think I've ever seen her skate clean.

Pairs test skate:

B/L are the only couple who skated their program entirely. They succeeded in all elements except for a few minor mistakes, including nice paralleled 3T and super supports. Their wonderful performance even won the standing ovation of the new President of the Russian Skating Federation.

V/T skated to the music but with pauses, because most parts of their program were left out. Their throws were fine.

Maria/Jerome did separate elements without music, including double twist, supports and very good throws. They did not do the jumps, for there is some problem with Maria's foot in recent days.

Geboldt/Enbert did not fully show their potential, I guess. Katarina fell on the jump and the throws. They only did double twist.

I/M fell as usual (It must be the girl who fell most of the time, I guess). I think the girl is a too weak jumper. Disappointing.

Martyusheva/Rogonov looked not bad.

I really think they need to find another partner for him. He's actually a reliable guy. Since I can't stand Vera's partner (I think he looks like a truck driver) I wish they could pair up Vera with him. Although Vera's no great jumper herself she's better than the other girl. Disappointing because the other girl is GORGEOUS.

I don`t think Bazarova would change partners after sticking with him during his doping affair

yeah, i agree, and also they're an item, so it's impossible that this pair will split.

when i watched them last season, their sbs single jumps seem really out of synch to me, is that improved this season?

Thank you very much, angietang. :)

Did they do any side by side jumps?
