Then how was he not American?

Ok, Rodnina holds American citizenship too - is she American? Mishin, Zhulin, etc also have American passports - you would call them Americans too?

Yes, if she holds American citizinship too, she is American within the meaning of American law. If she holds Russian citizenship, she is Russian according to Russian laws.
She has dual nationality.

I think that is obvious. It is not about ethnical origin of the person, but about the Passport, which the person has.

According to law, yes, they're all Americans. There's no use to explain me obvious things.
Please check one more time the beginning of discussion.

Anna Ovcharova: I didn't talk to her. She was working on a fun program (sounded like "Chicago" or "Cabaret"), and she really sold it.

How did her jumps look?

How did her jumps look?

I don't think that however they looked is any indicator at the moment. :)

The skaters are in summer training and are more about training basics and putting programmes together etc. then trying to be in top form.

Thanks for the photos and updates, Eislauffan!

Tatiana and Maxim look so happy and relaxed together: can't wait to see them in action!

I too would like to know if anyone knows what going on in her camp!

Did in fact Yuko have surgery? Is she ok?
What about those new pairs she was working with, any new news?

This article here says that Yuko Kawaguchi had shoulder surgery but is back on the ice now:http://www.allsportinfo.ru/index.php?id=40731

I guess, but at this age it maybe is an indicator, you know, if she was splatting all over the place and had grown 4 inches since fall...it would be a big deal. Or if she was landing 3-3s that would be another indicator that she is ready to kick butt on the JGP :) (not that she needs 3-3s to do that anyways though).

OMG, it's probably a good thing for Maxim Trankov that I'm American and MILES away from him. He and Tatiana look so happy, healthy, and beautiful! :swoon: He'd for sure have a restraining order on my ass. Ditto for Fabian Bourzat. How do they not melt the ice? :P:smokin:

I loved watching Zhiganshina dance, but I didn't realize how beautiful she was until these photos.
