Is there something in the water in Scotland that produces Susan Boyle and this lady, Janey Cutler? Watch, and be surprised: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7l2ULhLj_xE&feature=related Notice that as the judges were giving their scores, the song "Mull Of Kintyre" by Paul McCartney was being played (as an homage to her heritage) with the audience singing along!

That was special.. not just for her voice, but for her presence and attitude. What a great example.

Good one. Why does the UK seem to have better solo talent than the US? Oh wait, I know the answer, the folks in the UK don't audition unless they have something. With rare exceptions, the folks in the US just want to get on TV.

What an amazing lady - singing for the pure joy of it - and what an amazing voice!!! Makes me cry every time I watch it!!!

I think that in the US, we don't care about talent. We care if we like them and if they are pretty. That's why our talent show winners generally suck.

You're just jealous.

:respec: Glad that she had her moment! Cheers that Granny got up there, and performed wonderfully (for her). I can see why people are in love with her, but I don't believe that they're really listening to the singing.

Gravelly, scratchy, zero range ... i.e. what you'd expect from an old lady. LMAO at the YouTube comments ready to "buy all her CDs".

Hey she's more entertaining than Kevin Skinner, the last year's winner of America's Got Talent. :scream:
