I have the following down as going to SWP:

Senior ladies favorites:
Karen Zhou
Vanessa Lam
Lindsay Davis
(Gong should have a regional bye)

Jr ladies favorites:
Courtney Hicks
Leah Keiser
Katarina Kulgeyko
=======================
For Southwestern jr ladies:
The favorites are
Nina Jiang
Ashley Cain
Dinh
Daniels

Barring any more byes, injuries, retirements etc. etc., these two should be the toughest regionals. (Let me know if I have gotten anyone wrong!)

Does Nina really have to do regionals where she competed on the JGP? I mean, it makes sense for her to do sectionals, but regionals?

I've replied to jlai and pinky166 in the U.S. Junior Ladies/JGP assignments thread: http://www.fsuniverse.net/forum/showthread.php?p=2874363#post2874363

Rachael Flatt's next scheduled competition (as mentioned in her recent local article thread (http://www.fsuniverse.net/forum/showthread.php?t=74947)) is the Colorado Springs Invitational (Sept. 17-18) in Colorado Springs, CO. Agnes Zawadzki, Marissa Secundy (her delayed season and Sr. debut, I believe), Tatyana Khazova, and Katy Jo West are some of the other notable Senior ladies registered to compete.
Also, Alissa Czisny is scheduled to debut her new SP at the St. Clair Shores Autumn Classic in Michigan later today.

Rachael was a celebrity judge in a potato festival cook-off. :D

I love her new haircut! It makes her look so much more grownup and will work well for her jazzy programs.

Also, Gao just put up a 58.02 in the SP at JGP Austria, landed 3f-3t :encore:. She's not even in 1st though, those Russian girls are intense.

Colorado Springs Invitational top 3 (short program):

1. Agnes Zawadzki (62.45)
2. Rachael Flatt (46.18)
3. Morgan Bell (42.10)

Agnes! :encore: According to Sarah and Drew, she hit a 3T+3T, 3Lz that was "50 miles high," and 2A.

Flatt did 3Lz, 2F, and 2A and had "well performed choreo."

Flatt did 3Lz+2T, 2F, and 2A and had "well performed choreo." I wonder if she had low levels? That seems like a really low score for only one jump mistake from her.
SarahandDrew's tweet said Flatt did a solo 3Lz (no combo), which means she would have had -3 GOE on both the 3Lz and the 2F, right?

^ That would explain such a low score.

SarahandDrew's latest tweet on the Senior Ladies FS at CSI:

A. Zawadzki - 2A-3T, 3F, 3LZ-2T, 3LZ, 3LO, 3S, 3T-2T-2LO. Flawless. Standing ovation from most, including all off duty judges!
