I don't see a thread about the NBA, so I decided to start one. We are already in the second round/semifinals of the playoffs and my Phoenix Suns, at 3-0 against San Antonio, are on the verge of making it to the Western Conference Finals against the Lakers. I am not counting my chickens yet though. The San Antonio Spurs have broken our hearts four times in the past, and I hope this is not just another way of breaking our hearts. If they do, it will have to be in game 7. I am hoping for a sweep of the Spurs; they play tomorrow (Sunday).
LeBron James looks like he is the next Michael Jordan. Still, I have doubts about the Cleveland Cavaliers winning the NBA title this year. Orlando Magic looks like the best team in the Eastern Conference right now, and in the west the Lakers are the defending champions who always find a way to win, like they did against Utah tonight. Of course I am rooting against them, since they play against Phoenix.
I went to the Suns first two playoff games against the Spurs and it was a blast each time. I love this team. Their offfense, defense, chemistry, bench performance, entertainment value are all out of this world, and I am very proud because at the start of the season many people picked them to miss the playoffs entirely.
