I don't understand the "cover up" stuff. Johnny's RC Award is still very prominent on the web site.
It's one of the headlines on the USFS main page. That's not a cover-up.I never claimed there was any sort of "cover up". I commented on how it was pushed down from the top story very quickly by another story (which was dated a day later than when it appeared). I was rather bemused by what appeared to me as inordinate haste on the part of the USFS to not have it be the top story.

You did not say anything about a "cover up", it was other posts :).

Recently, the "Skating" magazine named Johnny Weir as the best skater of the year. Honestly speaking, these results have caused genuine surprise to me.Honestly speaking, these two sentences have caused genuine surprise to me for how much they distort the facts. Oh well, what else is new?

^ I couldn't see the full text with the link above but I could with this one:
Mr. Weir, who turned 26 last month, is also finishing what he calls a "quarter-life memoir" called "Here's Johnny." "I'm also working on a spectacular this winter," he said. "Contortionists, strippers, skaters, singers, dancers, everyone— we're just going to come together and have this beautiful party. The theme of my show is self acceptance, and the first night will be in New York."
ETA: Australian news sources are reporting that Johnny will be a judge at this month's Miss Universe pageant:
Rocker-turned-reality TV star Bret Michaels will host the pageant in Las Vegas, alongside judges Melania Trump, wife of millionaire US real estate mogul Donald, and Olympic figure skater Johnny Weir.
