.. for a steroid found in a penis enlargement product :o

The 23-year-old American, who faces a two year ban, said: "To know that I've tested positive as a result of a product that I used for personal reasons is extremely difficult to wrap my hands around.

Okay.. seriously.. did he have to put it like that? I don't know who this guy is.. but that quote, given the context is beyond funny

Oh man, that is too funny. Poor guy. The quote from him is beyond hilarious. If he can't wrap his hands around it then it must have worked!!

Oh my. He really didn't say "extremely difficult to wrap my hands around" did he? C'mon!

:drama: I'm disillusioned. No, not about a sprinter facing a suspension for "doping" (been there done that) ... but rather about a more legendary stereotype taking one on the chin.

I was thinking it but you said it!

Virginian-Pilot article (http://hamptonroads.com/2010/04/lashawn-merritt-suspended-use-banned-substance)

The hometown reaction is interesting. Man, I can't believe I live in the same metro with some of these people.

Best quote ever. He shouldn't be banned for that quote alone.

(Yea, I know...)

:lol: What a malapropism! (I'm sure he meant to say "head" -- but that could also lead to some double meanings.) Perhaps he was hoping for an endorsement deal for the "male enhancement product"? :shuffle:

LaShawn Merritt is a golden track jock
Who at the Olympics really did rock;
Then tested positive for dope
That he had used in the hope
Of increasing the merit of his cock. :slinkaway

Everyone seems to find this hilarious...and makes the "poor guy" comments. But in all seriousness, the Viagra was blatantly a masking agent. Yet another junked up Olympic Athletics Champ from the USA. Original excuse, however.

It wasn't Viagra.. it was an over the counter penis enlargement product that contains steroids.

"It's" a masking agent, and an excuse...that's what it is.

"It's" a masking agent, and an excuse...that's what it is. Are you saying that he used a steroid as a "masking agent" to conceal another steroid? Doesn't sound very smart at all. Or perhaps you are saying his claiming to have taken an OTC sexual enhancement product is a masking agent/cover-up (excuse)? I can believe the latter -- as I said, the former seems idiotic as well as pointless.

No surprise, this is track and field where everyone is on the juice.
