I just found out today I'm going! I received a wonderful surprise when my husband-to-be gave me tickets as his wedding gift. I didn't think I would have a chance of going due to trying to get there from NL and making connections but him, my mother and sister have been scheming for months to make this a reality.

What a wonderful present! You've got a real keeper! :D

Oh Minuet...You've got a gem there and then some. Congratulations and all the best on your upcoming Marriage!!! :)

Now for the important question....Has he got a brother? ;) :D

he's an awesome guy. He hates figure skating, like really can't stand it but knows how much I love it so he completely encourages the obsession, just don't make him watch it with me. He wrote me a note when he gave me this saying, I was under no obligation to ask him to go and please take my sister, go enjoy myself for 3 days and don't worry about him. He'll be watching his Oilers and cheering for Taylor Hall.

Aragorn...he does have a brother but sadly he's married and he's no peach.

Oh well...I felt on behalf of the rest of us here that I had to ask. :D

What, no mention of the historic Kingston Pen? "Once you visit the penitentiery, you'll find it hard to leave".:P

We tend not to think of our pens as tourist attractions.

We're funny like that. :P

Did anyone notice that they have the Competitors, staying at the Four Points by Sheraton Kingston and the Chaperones staying at the Radisson Hotel Kingston Harbourfront and Holiday Inn Kingston-Waterfront. Isn't it the job of the Chaperones to stop the Competitors getting up to mischief and how are they to do that in separate hotels.
