I purchased club seats in section 104 row 13. I bought on-line however called to get more details about the club seats & the guy on the phone hadn't a clue.( oh well)

Seats are behind the judges & I think are more copmfortable seats than others. My seats are # 20 & 21, next to the aisle near section 105. If you try to buy tickets & enlarge the seating map you will see seats numbers go from 1- 21 in the club seat section starting from lower sections to higher section #'s ( left to right in the club seats in the seating map)

Seat # 1 in section 104 is next to section 103, seat #21 in section 104 is next to section 105

It just occurred to me, I will not be handing out candies this year. I wonder if the Gala will have a Halloween theme?

Haven't been to this rink, but my guess is that the seat numbers increase in the same direction that the section numbers do...that way the highest numbered seat would be at the aisle closest to the higher numbered section beside it. If you have seat 1 in a row in section 110, I'd say you're right beside section 109, whereas a higher numbered seat would be closer to 111.

Hope the K-Rock Centre is sold out for all days of the competition! :)

I just bought seats in Sec 106 in the corner, row 8, seats 1, 2.
I like the end opposite K&C because all the jumping elements happen there. Also my section is on the judges side so I have a better chance at watching the posers.

Dude on the phone said seats 1, 2 are closest to Sec 105 so I'm at the correct end.

Now what I don't know is if the numbers run left to right throughout the arena (if you are facing the seats) as my row does, of if it shifts to right-to-left on the opposite side such that you are always working away from center. Who knows...?

If the Gala DOES have a Halloween theme, I want one of the pairs to use this:

Gah, that would mean soon after watching the gala skate, I'd have to rush back to the VIA rail station and catch the train home... :\ how late do the gala performances continue until?

According to that Skate Canada International schedule, the Gala ends at 4:45pm. Currently, the Toronto bound VIA trains listed departing Kingston after that time are at 6:14pm, 7:03pm, 8:27pm, and 9:04pm.

Unfortunately the VIA discount deadline ended yesterday, if you did not already book a ticket.

Just a "heads-up" for anyone who might be looking for a flight to SC from Halifax, NS.

Porter Airlines has a promotion on right now. I've just booked a return flight from Halifax-Ottawa. I got base price of $79.20 (to Ottawa) and $87.20 (return to Halifax).

Halifax to Toronto is $103.20 and the return flight is $111.20.

I don't think I've ever got anything lower than $79.20 to Ottawa, so I'm pleased.

I decided to travel to Kingston via Ottawa because I'm renting a car and it's a shorter driving time from Ottawa to Kingston than it would be from Toronto to Kingston. Also, a LOT less traffic congestion!

Anyway, just thought it might be something Haligonians might be interested in. The Porter promo is on until July 28th and the promo code to get these prices is PICK20.

ETA: The dates I'm travelling are Oct. 28th and Nov. 1st. Don't know about the fares on other days.

I just found out today I'm going! I received a wonderful surprise when my husband-to-be gave me tickets as his wedding gift. I didn't think I would have a chance of going due to trying to get there from NL and making connections but him, my mother and sister have been scheming for months to make this a reality.
