View Full Version : Figure Skating in Harlem's "Skating with the Stars"
Now, now boys. I'm sure a strong hunk of man like Chris Meloni could take you both on. Threesome!;)
:) Peacemaker.
But no pics of Meloni's co-star, Tamara Tunie? Isn't she on the Board of Directors for this event? Have any of these young women entered competitive skating?

Can anyone explain to me what this event actually was?As Sylvia mentioned in the first post, it was a fundraiser for the Figure Skating in Harlem (http://www.figureskatinginharlem.org/) program. It is an annual event where elite skaters and other celebrities skate at Wollman Rink with the program participants. I'm not sure how much tickets cost for the general public - invite on website just says to call their office.

Oh but Rexie, you know that I used to work out with him when I lived in NYC? I already have the inside track. Besides, I'm more of a Beechner than you ever could be... :)

I recall seeing a photo of Tunie -- check the Lifeskate and/or Icenetwork gallery photo links earlier in this thread.

I don't know for sure, but it doesn't sound like competitive singles skating is a focus of this program, though a synchro team and ISI testing are both mentioned -- for more info on the skating part of the FSH program, go to: http://www.figureskatinginharlem.org/our-program/the-program.php

As The World Turns was crazy to let her go. I miss her portrayal of Jessica.

Yeah, thats all the info I could find as well. Was wondering if this was available to the general public.

Yes, they were. But she is one of the best things about Special Victims.
