Thanks for the news Finnice. I really want Finland back in ice dance,I love the culture and they can give a lot to the sport.R/K were always so artistic and so innovative and I will always cherish the fact that they introduced me to Sibelius back then.

Maija, unfortunately Testa and Palomäki are already split. They could have been a good pair!

It is really a pity! They could have been so nice to watch!

Here are the SPs of Bela (http://www.ustream.tv/recorded/16781328) and Beata (http://www.ustream.tv/recorded/16784406) from last night.

Bela definitely didn't have his best skate. I'm not sure if he was planning to try a 3lz but he only did a double. The truth is that with a 2lz and only a 2a there's no chance to be competitive in junior men. He also fell on his 3flip. Hopefully the FP will be better. But even if not, it's still only August. :)

Beata did much better than what taking a quick look at the -3's in the protocols indicates. She did a 3t-3t which looked good and the second jump was definitely rotated, but she did fall. But a very promising attempt! She was also gutsy and went for a 3lz and stood up although it was quite heavily underrotated. All in all, not bad!

Oh by the way, is there any chance that the National Team camp next week is open to public? :watch: I would assume not.

I hope Sasha Palomaki can find a new partner soon.

Hanna, I'd try to sneak in, if I were you. ;)

New (Finnish?) ice dance couple: Laima Krasnitskaja and Jaroslaw Katlitski, according to this news (http://letal.nettisivu.org/uutinen-2/).

That's interesting!

New Finnish ice dance couples are popping up here and there! :cheer:

I thought Katlitski was supposed to retire.

I guess competing for Finland was a much better option than competing for Poland. ;)

So he's Polish (also based on the name)? What can you tell us about him? :)

And not only in HSK, Helsinki, but also in Leppävirta! IIRC, Laima was representing some club in Kuopio. To all non-Finns: Leppävirta is a very small place in eastern Finland, but it has a good rink and f.ex. Huth´s pupils have been training there in many summers.

Lepistö in now officially out of Nebelhorn.:(

Kiira Korpi has now published her own line of the sport clothes. She said in an interwiwe that she wanted to design youthful and comfortable clothes, and it is important that the tops have long enough hems that they don´t crawl up when a person is moving. The main colours are black, red, golden and brown. I´ll try to find a link...
