1) Anett Poetzsch won. Pleasant looking, but the skating was . Fall 1976-Winter 1980 is my least favorite Olympic cycle since 1964, as the ladies all seemed like they were apologizing for being able to do the triple jumps./whinge
2) Aung San Suu Kyi
Which skating clip from my YouTube favorites list would you most likely watch?
Pakhomova/Gorshkov, Masquerade Waltz ex.
John Curry, Der Rosenkavalier ex.
Robin Cousins, Rach 2 World Pros TP (1991)
Michelle Kwan, The Red Violin LP (SA 1999)
Vanessa Giunchi, Bolero LP (2002 Olys)
Matt Savoie, Ragtime LP (2004 USN)

Pick a routine and do the arm movements from said routine during the show! :cheer:

Non! :drama: But if your interpretation doesn't do justice to the music, then you should get a -3 GOE. And I'll be the judge :P
Judging from the young women I have seen around town, mini skirts seem to be making a comeback.

scribbled309's YT comments on two Yanni videos:
On "Reflections of Passion":
"I can't stop wondering whether Yanni is a servant of the Devil. And this is not some wise-guy comment: I seriously struggle over this question... But it is undeniable: this is the music you hear as you ride the elevator to Hell... "
or, on a live performance of a song Yanni dared to call "Renegade":
"This is NOT the music God listens to. To say that is an abomination. This is the soundtrack to fascism: the music they will play as the New World Order takes over and the Devil ascends from Hell..."
I like some of Yanni's stuff, but the 2nd comment makes me chuckle!

Yanni. I have fond memories of being a backward thirteen-year-old and enjoying the hell out of Live at the Acropolis.
