The US could use a smart, independent woman on the court, so why not.

Champions on Ice?

Ice Age 3 (but Idunno)

ETA: Bezic-era

most irritating:
-early nineties fluffs about Yamaguchi's "oriental heritage" (or this one (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MzUzMOdtqNg), perhaps the most unimaginative ever?
-Rachael Flatt's crazy, inarticulate mom :EVILLE:
-falling_dance's increased obsession with Aunt Joyce (I sekretly envision a Misery-like end for AJ :shuffle:)
-What the Buck's figure skating coverage (or his tired and nasally existence in general )

That's skary. I'm listing to Michael Buckley right now. While I don't always agree with his comments, "Elvis Stojko is a monkey!" will be on my lips when I die.

The early 90s Orientalist silliness, tied with Lundquist's "no bitterness [over the dispossession and imprisonment of Japanese-Americans during WWII], only pride in being American", which he said more than once as Kristi Yamaguchi took the ice. Um, how about a little of both? Grown-ups manage it all the time.

Most despicable aspect of vh1's 1999: 100 Greatest Women of Rock (http://www.rockonthenet.com/archive/1999/vh1women.htm).
-Hmm the compilers weren't 100% American were they? (*cough*Bush, Armatrading, Sioux, Harvey*cough*)
-Rickie Lee who?
-WHERE'S NINA F*CKING SIMONE???? :mad::mad::mad:
-half-assed lip service to Laura Nyro
-Annie Lennox > Patti Smith. Riiiiiiiight.
-Karen Carpenter only ranked high because she died. Lucky bitch.
-Gloria Estefan...
-Sheryl Crowe........
-Olivia-Newton John............!!?????!>>@$*@*#@@(

That's "Ud." to you.

I really like the Eurythmics, but Annie Lennox' ranking is ridiculous. For me--and I know it's fashionable in some quarters to say this--the worst thing is the exclusion of X-Ray Spex from the list. "The Day the World Turned Day-Glo", "Oh Bondage, Up Yours", "Age", "Identity": these are classics!

1) same question

2) Who's more rock and roll:

Barbra Streisand
or
Patsy Cline?

:P

1. Not sure about dispicable, but the best reaction to being named was -Olivia-Newton John............!!?????!>>@$*@*#@@(

2. Um, using the term loosely, I'll say Patsy Cline.

Van Morrison's Moondance
Marvin Gaye's What's Going On?

No it was best of Van Halen :scream::scream:

Prince and the Revolution for sure. Prince on his own is a pretentious bore. (plus he's ugly)
