Edit function

I wanted to edit one of my posts from just a few minutes ago, but the edit button wouldn't work (it does show up, but when I clicked on it nothing happened). I tried the edit button on a couple of my other posts, and it didn't work on any of them. Quote and other functions work fine though.

Any thoughts as to the problem?

There is a time limit on the editing function; I don't remember what it is right off the top of my head, but you have only a few minutes in which you can edit.

If you tried to edit a post right away and that didn't work, then we do need to take a closer look at that.

It should be 24 hours for editing your own post and 5(?) minutes for editing your thread title.
