Ryan is doing two seminars at a mall 15 min away from me August 18 - 19. He left for the Dallas area yesterday. The seminars are 7:45 - 11:00 AM at Stonebriar mall in Frisco, Texas. :)

I went to Ryan's final seminar this morning that he had with Juvenile and up. He mainly helped them with jump technique and spins. There was someone at the seminar I know I should know name wise because when he told Ryan goodbye, Ryan said "See you at Nationals!". Unfortunately, my mind is blank.

I talked to Ryan afterward, he has remembered me from previous meetings :). Anyway, he told me what Sylvia told us - that he did not submit his name to the GP because of his injury. I asked about nationals... basically he said nationals is not a for sure thing still. He said it depends on how I feel injury wise and if I have time to prepare.

I have pics and a 50 second video.. I'll upload those soon :)

The following was posted in the U.S. Senior Men's thread in the Trash Can yesterday (thanks for the info, dinakt!):

Ryan Bradley is participating in " Kings on Ice" this November- together with Plushenko, Lambiel and Weir. They are touring Russian provinces ( no shows in Moscow/St. Petersburg as of yet)
Which probably means Ryan will not compete this year, but it also means that his abilities as a show skater are recognized- between Disson shows and Kings on Ice he is quite in demand, which is great:)

Thanks for putting it in the right place, Sylvia!

For now Kings on Ice are announced in:

Orenburg- Nov.2
Ufa- Nov.3
Ekaterinburg- Nov.9
Novosibirsk- Nov.11

The cast ( as announced)-
Plushenko, Lambiel, Weir, Bradley, Lang/Chernyshov, Fumie Suguri.

Now, granted, there's been mistakes on Russian banners advertising skating shows in the past... But Ryan seems to be consistenly there.

No Suguri and Lang/Chernyshov according to Zakaryan (http://www.absoluteskating.com/interviews/2010zakarian.html).
Show in Ufa won't be Nov.3, probably but not certain Nov.20.

Great interview Reut ! Thanks for sharing.
Good to see Bradley confirmed, and Isabel and Olivier participating.
There is still quite a bit of fluidity there, it seems. The shows are now in November, and some of the dates are still being finalized. Hope it is a success.

I'd only consider them outside chances, not much threat to him at all. I haven't even HEARD of half of them (I'm not American though).

You need to have a sit down with your ego. :P

They are all strong skaters, easily capable of skating better than what Ryan did at some of his competitions last season.

Here's a new article on Ryan Bradley: http://web.icenetwork.com/news/article.jsp?ymd=20101006&content_id=15446126&vkey=ice_news

He hasn't ruled out competing in January at the 2011 U.S. Championships in Greensboro, N.C., but Bradley, who turns 27 next month, has been focusing most of his attention on the show circuit these days.
...
This weekend, he will be in Youngstown, Ohio, to perform in "Skate for the Heart,"
For more information on the Weiss Foundation show in which Bradley is scheduled to perform on October 24th, here's the link to the event thread: http://www.fsuniverse.net/forum/showthread.php?t=74497

From an article about the show (link is posted in the Weiss show thread above):

Ryan Bradley, who placed fourth at nationals, skated an entertaining routine to Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. He said he is trying to expand the routine into a free skate program. Stay tuned.

I think Ryan is a little too tall to convincingly portray an Oompah Loompah on the ice. ;)
