Just sent you a PM, cal. Not sure if individual tickets are on sale yet - but please call Frank Rinaldi at the Rose Garden anyway and ask him about pairing up with your sister on the night you want to go together.
that's so cool!! i envy you. mr. herehere! (by bf) is a kind of man who would never ever be convinced to even watch it on tv :( he watched the olympics with me but i had to buy him lots of beer. That's what FSU drinking games are for! :respec: (Although they were better when Dick & Peggy were still around on TV.) Wedgie - 1 shot, costume malfunction - 5 shots, and so forth. ;)

Thanks, UMBS. I'll see if Frank can help me out with the seating.

My bf fell asleep trying to watch the Olympics and the new cat used him as a pillow. But he bought SOI tickets for both of us and enjoyed the show - he'll be going to Portland with me as well and hopefully won't be taking too many bathroom breaks. :P

Mr. Really has gone to SOI with me once, and he occasionally watches bits and pieces of skating on TV. He has absolutely no intention of going anywhere near the Rose Quarter in November! ;)

My husband occasionally watches on TV with me (and he likes watching Johnny's interviews!), and I can usually convince him to come along to skating events - he will be joining me in Portland. I'm pretty grateful he wants to view the events with me!

Thank god my husband ISN'T coming to Portland with me. He has got to be the worst person on earth to watch skating with. He doesn't just sit there & read or do something else. He makes snide comments about everything from the music to the costumes to the beauty/non-beauty of the skater. And not in a funny or entertaining way. And he never shuts up.

Mine shuts up.... he just  and then later wants to discuss the "sexual orientation" of the men and why the women don't have "busts". (He loved Ms. Witt!)
But he lets me go to events without whining!

But he lets me go to events without whining! All of that is fair game and... quite tame as far as bantering with the immediate folks I sit with are concerned. :drama: :saint: ;)
Except the whining. :P

If my husband recognizes a skaters name he acts like he's their true friend and knows all about them .......

There is now one extra ticket available in the FSU seating group. It is $180, all-event, and does not include exhibition. Great seats. PM me if interested.

I emailed USFSA to ask when they will post the detailed practice schedule, and I was told it will be uploaded next week. :)
