River Song is the best casual character they ever introduced in Doctor Who. And currently, she is the best character in THIS series. While I am enjoying Matt's version of the Doctor, some of the stories have been a little BLAH. But The Pandorica Opens....wow.

Someone on another site mentioned the continuity error from the episode "Flesh and Stone". The part where The Doctor talks to Amy and says "remember when you were 7...you have to trust me now" etc. He was wearing his jacket in that scene, whereas before he lost it to one of the Angels. And he wasn't wearing it afterwards. Well, it wasn't a continuity error. Brilliantly done. :rockstar:

Awesome!
I resisted from watching the finale when it was first shown so I can watch the two parter back-to-back. I laughed, I cried, I was totally on the edge of my seat. I haven't quite formulated all of my opinions yet but safe to say I look forward immensely to the next series (and I will seek out previous series, as the 11th doctor is my first foray into DW).

Which episodes were the two parter? I'm a few episodes behind (even for the US broadcasts), but I also hate to watch the first part and then have to wait for the end. I'd much rather watch them together.

The Pandorica Opens and The Big Bang is the finale two parter. The Hungry Earth and Cold Blood is the two parter at episodes 8 & 9.

Matt Smith is going to appear on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson tonight. The Doctor Who team is in the U.S. to do some filming (3 days?) in the Utah desert for the opening two-parter of Series 6, which takes place in the U.S. in 1969. (only a very slight spoiler)
Here (http://www.nerdist.com/2010/11/dalek-comes-to-hollywood) is Craig with a dalek on last night's show; scroll down a bit to see it. It looks like this Nerdist (Chris Hardwick) whose site the dalek clip is on is also appearing on The Late Late Show tonight and he has done a podcast with Matt that will be posted soon.

Apparently Hardwick is going to try and get the podcast up by Monday. If you search TVsCraigFerguson on Youtube you'll be able to watch the episode tomorrow. For anyone who doesn't get the channel like I do.

Thanks, musicgurl. I wasn't familiar with the podcast, but definitely want to catch this one. I fell asleep before the show came on last night, but I've got it recorded and can hardly wait to sit down and watch it.

Thanks a bunch! Enjoyed that. (Matt needs to learn not to wear white socks with black shoes though. Ha ha).

Hope you all enjoy watching this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mnJX0ydvfBw&feature=related
(Judging by his laugh, I hope Matt has b*lls of steel).
