Whereas I think Bullock really did/does love Jesse and probably expected him to be faithful to her. She does have something genuinely sweet and innocent about her.

The marriage to the porn star should have tipped her off, but woman often naively forgive things like that and tell themselves stuff like no one ever loved the man well enough and in her company (she being special and devoted) the man will change.
Sandra's 45. She's probably not as sweet and innocent and naive as you think. :P She was probably genuinely in love with him, but the fact that she's reportedly already moved out shows that she isn't quite as forgiving as you make her out to be. ;) And doesn't matter what kind of person you are - if you've married someone with an understanding that it isn't an open marriage, then you should be faithful. There shouldn't be a double standard, ie "faithful unless you're Donald Trump" or "faithful unless you've been with porn stars." BTW not every porn star sleeps with anything on two legs. For some it's just a way to make money.

I wish her the best, but I think she's got a good head on her shoulders and will be able to take care of herself. Same with Kate and Sam.

I feel badly for the kids. Sandra seemed very devoted to them. Now more upheaval...the thought of "Bombshell" being their new step mom turns my stomach. Maybe "prison mom" can step up but she is living in a half way house, doubt she could get custody of the oldest. So sad...

Trump is a vulgar pig who cheats on his wives. Not sure there is a difference between the two. What annoyed Trump is that a guy like JJ, white trash in Trumps opinion, didn't cave in to The Donald. Trump pushed and pushed trying to get a reaction out of him and resorted to assuming, out loud, that JJ must be good in bed and that's what Sandra was attracted to. IMO that was fcuking insulting to her and showed no class. This was no example of him being a good judge of character, it was an example of a man with a huge ego showing how nasty he can be when that ego is threatened.

As for Sandra I am gutted for her, have always liked her. The whole situation is eerily like that movie she did Hope Floats. Hope she eventually finds a similar ending.
I did say sometimes :P.

I know nothing about Kate Winslet and her hubby, but Sandra Bullock should have known better from someone who was already married 2x and is a little off his rocker!

^^^NTM that his second wife was an adult film star!!

But THIS shit is even more scary: James' mistress in Nazi-themed photo shoot! (http://www.tmz.com/2010/03/19/jesse-james-sandra-bullock-michelle-mcgee-nazi-swastika-mistress-photos/#ixzz0icCH6EH3)

Why would a young woman like Melania marry an old man such as Trump?

OT, I know, but I must comment; this sentence irritates the hell out of me. Trump is NOT old; he's quite a bit older than his wife, but he is not old. Sorry, but old is the other side of 90, which Trump is not.

Trump is 63 years old (almost retirement age) and is 24 years older than his wife (old enough to be her father).

I don't care that Trump is old, I care more that he's a jerk. ;) I don't watch his shows.

As for Sandra and Jesse... :duh:

I did say sometimes :P.

I was addressing more the idea that he was a good judge of character in this situation. I maintain it was purely his ego that made him go after Jesse. Had JJ rolled over and let Trump do his thing Trump would have loved him.

??? He is a bad husband, not a bad father who deserves to lose his kids to his obviously troubled ex. I'm not defending what he did but I'm not going to pretend that he is an entirely bad person who should have his kids taken away and given to a woman currently in jail/prison/halfway house or something.

Is it a power thing with these guys? I mean, I never heard of this guy before Sandra married him. Same with Eric Benet and Halle - I barely knew who he was. They get a woman who is more famous and accomplished than they are and...they cheat? And clearly cheat with women who are beneath their wives in terms of class and accomplishments!!

In my armchair analysis I think it's quite the opposite. I don't think it's about power at all. I think it's a low self-esteem issue. He could be intimidated by his wife's accomplishments and grace and feels he doesn't deserve her, so he cheated on her with someone who he feels is more on the same level as him. He may feel that Sandra is way out of his league and couldn't take the pressure anymore so he went for one who he could handle.

Again...armchair analysis.

Or maybe the mistress brought excitements to his life, was willing to fullfill his fantasies and/or did things with/to him that he wouldn't have dared to brought up with Sandra.

Yeah, there's that possibility, too. The ole Variation on a Virgin/Whore Theme.

 Clearly, no!

I truly feel bad for Sandra; she's a good actress and is well-liked in Hollywood 'cause she's so sweet and nice.

Rex, I am from Milwaukee and I know Mr. Benet and his family, not very well but I've met him, his daughter and Halle on a few occasions(my cousin went to high school with him).

I do not condone his infidelity, however to my understanding she was not sitting at home baking cookies and her behavior in the marriage was not "stellar" at times. From what I saw, it was good time in their courtship, he was DEVOTED to her and loved her very much.

Now Eric has been for the most part very respectful to her since their divorce. To my understanding, he could say alot of stuff that would not look to kindly to her in the eyes of some.

My point, we as the public, don't really know how many famous people are behind closed doors in their ordinary life.

Maybe Sandra is frigid, maybe they had an agreement as long as it was "kept" secret as to what he or she does.

Thank god my husband takes responsibility for his own behavior and his fidelity doesn't depend on how "stellar" I happen to be.

You marry a human being, not a cookie-baking automaton.
