Torn ACL and MCL, and something else, pretty torn up. Plans surgery and a pro career.

This is a good game - Go Butler!

Duke has forgotten how to rebound, they need to want the ball, all the time.

Damn. Too bad. So close on that last second shot to win the game. This sucks.

I know. Well, Butler had a real chance.

That foul should have been a T. Anyone else would have been called a T, but not Duke.

And that last second shot was an outstanding effort.

Coach K can't even acknowledge the efforts of Butler unless prompted. sheesh

19 years ago my dad was here for the 1991 National Title and this is my senior year, so this is quite a special moment in our family. :)

Indy Star jumps the gun (http://cache.gawkerassets.com/assets/images/11/2010/04/indy-star.jpg) w/ 15 seconds left to go

Congrats to Butler for a great tournament run!

Yeah - UCONN Ladies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They did this after playing the worst 1st half in UConn history and trailing 12-20 after 20 minutes. Then playing far better than Stanford for the next 20 to win 53-47. This is the 1st game of the 39 that UConn played and won this season that UConn did not win in double figures. I believe the average point difference for the season was around 24 points. It is also their 2nd 39-0 season in a row to set an NCAA women's record win streak of 78-0. It is their 7th NCAA title & they are 7-0 in title games, too. Remarkable achievements, all of them. Congrats to Geno Auriemma & his team.
