I hope they haven't been working on programs yet. After a grueling Olympic season and the CSOI tour, they've earned the next week or two to relax and take a total break from skating. Listening to music/brainstorming are different, but they need some time off-ice to recover.

I mean, that D-W could start working on new programs ;)
Tessa and SCott are on vacation now - i remember, they talk in interwie, they will have vacation just after CSOI. Then in June they will have show in Korea.
Its good, thaey didnt start traning just after WCh or after CSOI. Did you remeber, what happened, when they start working just after WCh in 2008? Tessa had injury.
Hope they will have good rest!

I expect both teams will delay working on their whatever OD short program is until the rules are finalized. I wonder whether they will delay until there is some definition of what uplifting is?

Eh, if it's not "uplifting enough" they can always crush up some prozac and spike the judge's drinks.

Thanks for the link pani. Even after this huge whirlwind they still manage to come across as some of the most down to earth and genuine people. It's pretty obvious that Roots is trying to capitalize on their connection, but they have such a perfect story and I don't think there are many better athletes to represent the brand.

http://cs.calgarystampede.com/ It looks like the Calgary Stampede is some huge rodeo, but I don't see any mention of an ice show on their site. Scott's going to have a blast with this, perhaps he'll finally get to pick country exhibition program. Poor Tessa!

http://hecfi.ca/hecfiEntertainment/EVENTS_copps.php This looks AWESOME. A show featuring V/M, D/W, B/A, NavBoms, the Kerrs, the Zaretskys, Samuelson/Bates, and Lang/Tchernyshev. Hosted by Shae Lynn and Kurt.

It does not appear to be a highly publicized ice show. Searching the internet, I found a little blurb at a tourism Calgary website mentioning a new ice show at the stampede. At another site, someone posted a question about the show. The person noticed ice show tickets were included with a family ticket package for the stampede.

Why Weaver-Poje will not skate in this show?
I think it will be amazing, hope they will sold tickets, because ice dance isnt so popular in North America. Cant waite to see some choreo for Tessa and Scott from Kurt and Shae-Lynn :respec:

But when Tessa and Scott will traine for next season?

And what mean July 9-18
Ice Shows, Calgary Stampede
Calgary, AB - they will skate in this show all the week?????

It looks like the Calgary Stampede is some huge rodeo,

This comment made me chuckle. The poor people at the Calgary Tourism Bureau will be crushed that you didn't know what it is off the top of your head.

You're right, it is a huge rodeo (the largest in the world), with a parade, midway, etc thrown in. It seems a rather strange fit for an ice show, although perhaps it's no stranger than having ice shows in Las Vegas or on cruise ships.

ETA: If they are doing ice shows at the stampede, they'll probably be doing something honorary in the parade as well.

Wow, thanks for posting the info. Ot, but I'm happy to see that L&T are skating together again. Looks like it'll be a great show.

In all fairness, I AM 2500 mi away! They should be happy that I even know the stampede exists and they can thank V/M for that.

This is odd. Very odd. If you've ever been to the Stampede, you'll know that a skating show is the last thing you'd expect to find there. Line dancing on ice, perhaps?

Maybe they will be something like the marshall of the parade (like the Macy's parade or Rose Parade?)

However, there's a hockey arena, so of course there could be an ice show...
