How is it that Idol ran over by 8 minutes, but Glee by only 3? wuzrobbed.
And my stupid DVR cut off and switched, even though I had recorded the overrun, but it glitched so I missed the first half of Like a Prayer :(
Yeah, darn you AI!! I've never even watched that show. My dvr cut off before Like a Prayer started.
Have to say, it is really hard to watch Glee right after Lost. Going from super intense ulcer-inducing drama to light-hearted fun is not easy. Next week, I think I may have to hold off 24 hours after Lost to watch Glee.
And I agree with with Britney that Vocal Adrenaline guy looks like Mr. Schu's son.

I love Kurt so much, I'm hoping for him and Finn to end up together. He was the best part of Vogue, which was pretty
TVGuide Magazine has an article on Kurt. Some good spoilers for Kurt are mentioned.
"But nothing will stop Kurt, who will continue to pursue Finn until late in the season, when the jock finally gives Kurt a painful reality check."
And this one too: But don't cry for Kurt. A hunky new love interest-one that is actually gay-will debut in Season 2.

Do it the other way around. I watched Glee and then Lost, it was easier going from lighthearted silly to uber-angsty. At least for me. ;)

Loved It! I thought this episode rocked. Was a little disappointed in last weeks episode. Loved the Cheerios numbers. Those stilts were cool. And I like the idea of adding vocals to the Cheerios. Lots of LOL lines in this episode and the singing was great.
Thought Will and Emma were smoking hot in the Like a Virgin song. Love the way they are handling this relationship. They are keeping us in suspense but it all makes sense. Emma does need therapy and Will needs to sow his wild oats.
Loved Vogue of course.(BTW did anyone else think that one of the male back-up dancers was Nathan from SYTYCD season 6?) And the boys singing what it feels like for a girl was good too. I wish I could of heard more of the different singers in Like a Virgin. I only heard Emma and Santanna once really and barely heard Will or Jonathan Groff.
Look forward to next week but am so glad it's back, Missed it big time. Only seven more episodes left.

I've been wondering the same thing.
I loved the episode.

Excellent episode- Like A Virgin was good, but a little jarring- no matter which girl we saw I could only hear Rachel's voice, except a few seconds of Santana.

I love Glee, wouldn't miss an episode, but Rachel is a problem for me. even when she doesn't have a solo or lead in the numbers she seems to be the focus. I was pleased the Kurt and Mercedes went to join the Cheerios. Maybe we will get to hear them sometime. Rachel's intense face is also annoying.

I actually find Rachel a lot more tolerable now than some of the characters who are really downright mean-spirited towards her lately.

I love Rachel. Yeah, she's intense, but she's got so much heart. I find the way the other characters treat her just awful. :(

Ah ... supports my theory that all of the second-half episodes were planned, written, filmed, then they had the team go back and make a quick "catch-up" episode for last week, as it was so much weaker. The rhythm and absurdity were all there for the Madonna episode. SO many gems!
"I thought I cookies wafting from the ovens of the elves that live in your hair."
"Would you please stop talking? You're grossing out my baby."
"When I pulled my hamstring I went to a misogynist."
"The goth thing was two years ago, so I'd consider losing the vampire make-up and tighter-fitting clothing."
The cheerleading routine on stilts was genius. Long lines!
"Simply put, you have all the sensuality of one of those pandas down at the zoo who refuse to mate."
"My parents were famous Nazi-hunters, so they weren't around a lot."
Tina going femme-crazy on Artie!
And I desperately want to visit the set one day just to read what all the pamphlets and books say in Emma's office, and what the trophies must say in the choir room.

Quinn performed "Papa Don't Preach" on a previous episode with Puck on guitar, so I guess they didn't want to repeat the song.

Aww I missed it. Papa Don't Preach was one of my favourite songs on the True Blue album.. much to my father's dismay I'm sure
