Read that Paul McCartney sent the producers some of his songs asking they be considered for Glee, seems he is a fan too.

That would be great! Beatles stuff or his more recent works?

Hi guys,
Sorry if this has already been asked, but does anyone know when the 2nd Season is coming out on DVD? I just started watching about a week ago, and have already finished the 1st Season...I'm dying while waiting to find out what happens next. Ah, summer. Thanks!

The 2nd season doesn't start airing until the Fall...

It's called stunt casting, 30 Rock is notorious of this in the first two seasons.

But with 20 something episodes, they gotta have some special featured episodes. Admit it you want to see a Britney one!

I think iDanceonice means when is the second part of season 1 coming out on DVD. I believe it's September 14. They're also selling them together as one big set if you choose to buy it that way.

walei, doesn't it make sense for 30 Rock though? It's a show based on a SNL type show.

The Britney episode is going to be the 2nd episode according to eonline.com

Oops, I guess I didn't know it was still called the first season. That's what I meant. And thanks, I suppose I can wait that long if I must ;)

I actually can't wait for the Britney episode. :D I hope it's not like the Madonna or Lady Gaga episodes where the moral of the story ("Express yourself!" "Theatricality is good!") became so heavy-handed. I think it gets cumbersome when the episodes try so hard to be educational rather than just entertaining.

ITA, I think it would be good to have a theme episode that is just for fun.

Maybe the girls and boys can celebrate mental illness, adult exploitation of a teenage phenom cash chow, not wearing one's undies for attention, bad and quick marriages, and just plain ol' bad pop music. ;)

Seriously though, I do enjoy Slave 4 U and Toxic as dance songs.

Watched the first 12 episodes, have to give them a credit - so far it's one of the most awful shows I've ever seen.

The singing is mostly bad - they are chocking - producing the voice through their throats rather than faces and just pushing too much. That applies to `Rachel' most of the time and to most of the guys.

The `Finn' is horrible and I expect him to be off key all the time (though he surprises me with hitting the notes)

`Will' is great when he does the boys band thing (in 2nd and 8th episodes), everything he sings between is again - chocking. Why???

As for the pregnancies parts - was the script written by a 13 mentally retarded virgin? I mean - seriously, a guy at the age of 16-17 doesn't know the girl can't get pregnant from the hot tube? And another of the 30+ can't differentiate between a pregnant wife and a pillow?

I hate the way Aguilera, Spears and Beonce move themselves, but when copied by 22 y.o. actors who are playing 16 y.o. it's even more disgusting.

Funny, I'm pretty sure that a "hot tube" was involved when I got pregnant... :D (Sorry, I just couldn't resist!)

 Ew, ew, ick!

I think one of the more subtle running jokes of the show is than Finn is actually quite stupid. He's almost a male Brittany, except she probably has more street smarts than he does. So, while most 16yr old boys would not have fallen for the "hot tube" story, Finn is a "special" case.
