They lost regionals because of their lack of planning. In a real glee club, those little divas would have been practicing a set number from the start. How can a school pull together a number in less than a week? Next season I expect them to be more prepared :P

But then Mr Shu wouldn't be able to give the kids a theme to follow each week.

I should stop talking about them like they're real people....

There are nationals after regionals. I think what that poster was suggesting was that they'll win regionals next year, but not nationals.
:duh: Not only "suggesting," but outright stating it.

My eyes ... are ... so ... old. :(

Well, not really stating it. I was just predicting. We do it for competitions here all the time. And just like skating predictions, I will probably be wrong about this, too! :)

I think the network is showing the series again....don't know if it is from year 1 or just this year's series. In the Houston area it starts next week, 6/13 +. Probably different areas, different times...who knows?

Fox is national, so US viewers should expect to see season 1 summer repeats on Thursday evenings.

Still completely wild about the Journey medley. If you watch it for the details a view times, all of their personalities really shine through so wonderfully. I was already in the Harry Shum crush brigade, but that boy can seriously move.

I don't get all the rampant FSU hating on Cory's voice. I'm a trained singer and I find him completely adequate - and he himself has said he didn't have a lot of singing experience (and virtually no dancing) before Glee. His strength was primarily as an actor. He has worked very hard on his singing and movement to get this far.

I also have a feeling the casting was designed around very, very strong female singers (Lea, Amber, Naya and Jenna could each carry a lead role on stage by themselves) and less male strength in the Glee club in relation to Matt Morrison, who is the rare triple package of highly accomplished actor/singer/dancer.

I agree with you ebayj, regarding Cory's voice. I find that his voice complements Lea's voice so well, which is the part that I enjoy the most. Although he doesn't match her singing talent, their voices "fit". And sometimes producers overuse autotuning, which I think ruins Cory's voice instead of enhancing it. He may not have the best voice, but I think it works for his character and for the show.

No, he doesn't have the best voice, and it is weaker in some songs than others, but it's not bad, imo, and he doesn't look as old as some are saying either. Certainly no older than the others. (very few of which look high school age as usual on TV shows)

But from the looks of it, she could be back next year (or she can just ride off into the sunset with her new baby.) I think there's a good storyline there re: Rachel, Shelby and Beth. Now whether they choose to go there or not is another question. I'm curious to know how long her contract was for because of this.

Although I am annoyed with Shelby. Here Rachel is, practically begging her mother to form a relationship with her, and she gets shot down because "it's too late." You don't need to be a baby to form a proper relationship with a parent. Yes, it might not be the same as it would be had Rachel grown up with her, but when someone needs a parent, it's never too late.

Yeah it's almost as if Shelby doesn't want a kid (if she did she would have jumped at the opportunity to have a relationship with Rachel).. she wants a "baby" to replace the one she gave up. Well honey, they don't stay babies forever. If I were Rachel and I found out she adopted Beth I think I'd be a little hurt.. in a "what's wrong with me that my mother would rather adopt a baby than try a relationship with her biological daughter?" way.

I agree, I think he does just fine. I also don't see him looking too old, if I took him and placed him in the middle of a picture of my son's group of friends at that age, he would fit right in.

His singing is okay.. sometimes he sounds a little off like when he sang "Hello, I Love You". He's no Jim Morrison lol. His dancing is atrocious though but I like that they've kinda made it into a joke on the show.

She admitted exactly that to Will.

I agree on both counts. He doesn't look any more out of place than the rest of the cast. He still gets too many leads for my taste, but I suspect they will spread the wealth more next season.

I certainly hope Idina's back next season. I was a little  over her refusal to pursue a relationship with Rachel, but I think that decision really revealed the heart of the character. If she can't be the center of Rachel's world, which she never will be as long as the Dads are in the picture, then she doesn't want to be in it at all. She's really that egotistical. I can imagine a storyline where the baby brings them closer together though.
