I guess I'm the only one who thought the birth scene, mixed with VA's BR was great. :shuffle:

Can I join the Mike Chang fan club? I want to see more of his dancing and hear him once in a while!
I didn't like Vocal Adrenaline's Bohemian Rhapsody because it was all Jessie with a lot of dancing. I don't like it when New Directions is all Rachel and Finn either - I like it when everyone sings.

I thought Vocal Adrenaline's choreography was amazing. I was very entertained.

That was a great episode. It was the best of the second leg, IMO. I totally teared up during "To Sir, With Love" too. :D
I was watching with two friends, and we all agreed that VA kicked ND's ass, sorry to say. For them to win would have been a little perplexing (even if this show does forgo reality a lot).

I never expected ND to win this year. Perhaps if this was the only season, we might have seen a victory. But now that there are 2 additional seasons, there was no need for it.
My predictions on how the competitions will go: They'll win regionals next year and go to nationals, where they'll place in the top 5. The 3rd season, they'll win it all.

Can't believe that it's months till the next episode of Glee. :wuzrobbed
I know! :wuzrobbed

No, I thought is was great too. So many great moments in this episode, I loved Quinn asking for Mercedes in the delivery room, and poor Puck's face when Quinn was in transition and screaming obcenities at him!
Jayne Lynch is a fcuking brilliant actress! She says so much with just a facial expression and her delivery is so dead on, this: Your hair looks like a briar patch. I keep expecting racist, animated Disney characters to pop up and start singing about living on the bayou. and I spent large segments of each day picturing you choking on food, and I recently contacted an exotic animal dealer because I had a very satisfying dream that I once shoved your face into one of those pink-inflamed monkey butts
The Journey Medley was amazing and as much as I liked the pilot version of "Don't Stop Believing", I thought this version was even better. "To Sir With Love" followed by "Over the Rainbow" were the perfect way to wrap up the season. I can't wait for next season. :watch:

I totally agree! I want to see the whole Glee club being used, not just Finn and Rachel.
Also while I loved VA on the first few episodes it quickly became the Jesse show...even though I love him I'd like it to not just be him...

I LOLed when I saw Jonathan Groff started singing and there was a huge spray of spit that came out that you could see in the spotlights. When he did Spring Awakening on Broadway, one of the major complaints from audiences was that he was a major spitter and the first row had to watch out.
I loved this finale and I can't wait the whole summer for the show to come back on. I think the writers will have much better pacing and hopefully consistency when they do the second season because they have to time to actually plan all 23 episodes out rather than do 13 episodes thinking that the show would get canceled then all of a sudden become a huge phenomenon and rush the next 10 until the kick-ass finale.
What do you think Glee's Emmy chances are? What other comedies out there that can give Glee competition for a nomination for Best Comedy (I don't want to even think that they can win Best Comedy yet)? That dreck Two and a Half Men? The Big Bang Theory? Is Nurse Jackie a drama or comedy?
Jane Lynch...lead actress or supporting actress in a comedy? I used to think she was a supporting actress but she has so many storylines and scenes in the show that I think they could make a case to make her a lead (I think they should keep her supporting though).
I thought Kristin Chenoweth had the Guest Star in a Comedy Emmy in the bag until Betty White did SNL and I think Betty White will get it just based on sympathy, nostalgia and how awesome Betty White was.

Mike Chang! "I can pop and lock." (http://community.livejournal.com/icanpopandlock/538.html)
(Whoa, IMDB says he was born in Costa Rica!)
LOVE IT and yes he can. How does he do that thing where he gets up off the floor with no apparent use of limbs?

Modern Family is pretty doggone funny, but I still think Glee surpasses it. But, I am a sucker for musicals.

I don't see any case for making Lynch anything but a Supporting actor nominee. And she has a great shot at winning. The show is really ensemble-based. I wouldn't even make a case for Rachel's character being a lead.
The show in general? I'm not holding my breath for a win in the Comedy Series category. "30 Rock" gets tons of love from the slow-to-change Emmy voters. And Modern Family has been getting a lot of critical praise. I'd love to see the cast perform at the Emmys at least!

I think the network is showing the series again....don't know if it is from year 1 or just this year's series. In the Houston area it starts next week, 6/13 +. Probably different areas, different times...who knows?

There's only been one season - albiet with a large break. They're running it again straight through the whole season.

Hmmm, methinks that ND has to WIN it next time, lest the writing become very stale when the third season is just like the first two  -- ND striving and stuggling to hit the top.
New, rich storylines w/could come out of ND winning Regionals next year. Success going to some peoples' heads, the pressure to keep it up, defections(!), jealousy within the group and from other schools' choirs, and such.
Question: Is "Regionals" where it stops in show choir? Or is there a "Nationals" of sorts? If so, :shuffle: looking forward to seeing "16th-year senior" Finn in action during Season 5, as the Glee gang attempts to, at last, become national champions.

I used to think she was a supporting actress but she has so many storylines and scenes in the show that I think they could make a case to make her a lead (I think they should keep her supporting though). For the record, the only two cast members submitted as leads are Matthew Morrison and Lea Michele. Everyone else is supporting.
As for the show, I think it's pretty much a lock for a nomination, but I don't know about a win. It won the Golden Globe, but they're much more known for rewarding what's new and hot than the Emmys.

I think what that poster was suggesting was that they'll win regionals next year, but not nationals.
