I loved pretty much all of this episode. Everything except Bohemian Rhapsody. It is one of my favorite songs of all time, so I was excited to learn that it would be sung. But then I heard the screechiness that is Jonathan Groff's voice and I become sad and almost fast forwarded through it.

Can't wait until next year and hope to see Brittany get a song! Speaking of... did anyone else notice that while they were in the waiting room, Brittany was kneeling on the floor poofing out her dress, pretending to have a pregnant belly? It made me laugh.

Loved this episode so much (beside Vocal Adrenaline, that is). Not many shows can make me laugh hysterically and then tear up within a matter of minutes. I can't wait for it to come back!

Well...they may have been robbed...but they can't win everything the first time they try...that's part of life...

I will miss Jonathan Groff...he was amazing and fun to look at!

I'm sure I'm in the minority but I find Jonathan Groff to be completely :blah:

Download the bootleg of off-Broadway musical Spring Awakening (starring Groff in a Tony-nom role and Michele), then listen to the soundtrack to fully appreciate his singing and the music. He's criminally misused in Glee.

:shuffle: I found this ep a bit disappointing. Loved the guest judges, but overall pacing was kinda...dull.

Unspeakable joy. What a refreshing show this has turned out to be. I laughed, I cried, and it was FAR better that "Cats". The plethora of talent in this cast is absolutely mind boggling.

Maybe not the funniest part of the episode, but I had to pause after Sue yelling "Kiss my ass, Josh Groban!"
I know nothing about him, and he just looks like this dead nice person, so somebody being mean to him just make me laugh...

[maybe i should just head over to the Strange Thing you do thread...:shuffle:]

:wuzrobbed:wuzrobbed:wuzrobbed:wuzrobbed:wuzrobbed waaaaaah!

Oh Glee! I've been so rough on you lately cuz you've really been a mess, but you brought it all back!

I don't care if it was cheesy or too tidy and quick or whatever -- I was sitting here shaking and I totally welled up. Emo me and Glee.

I loved the Journey medley (especially Don't Stop Believing), and the Bohemian Rhapsody -birth-givin' montage was kind of a stroke of genius (even if it made me cringe at times). All the emotional stuff from the kids had me vaclempt! And for once, I'm saying Jane Lynch is a friggin' acting genius - she played it so well! Her face in the judging room - and her amazing speech to Will.

(Minor things - a.) Santana has a way more powerful, mature voice than the rest of 'em. b.) The combination of Tina and Artie harmonizing is very pleasant. c.) I liked Kurt's little sailor outfit. d.) The whole adoption by Rachel's mom of course was called a long time ago, and it was a little too forced for me. e.) Bohemian Rhapsody was so intense and like a perfectionist circus. Amazing yet cold!)

Anyway, waaaah! :wuzrobbed:wuzrobbed:wuzrobbed It was so good! I can't wait until next season! I hope it STAYS good!

:cheer2::biggrinbo:respec::encore::watch::rollin:

(OK, now I'll go read up-thread. Sorry for the emo-spill. :slinkaway)

Yes! I was really befuddled!

Uhh, and Mike Chang is kinda perfect looking. Like he's made of wax or something.

What a wonderful episode. It was nice to see Matt Morrison do the Hawaiian verison of Somewhere Over the Rainbow. It was the same song he used to audition for Glee.

I cannot wait to see what this show does in second season. The first season they established a core of well defined characters, but much of the supporting cast had limited storylines. Hopefully the show gives the supporting characters more storylines.

Mike Chang!!!! You Puck-lovers can have Puck. I love Other Asian Kid!

I loved that they did To Sir with Love. That was totally unexpected. I literally cheered out loud in my living room when it started.

I thought the birth scene was kind of weird, but it didn't bother me too much.

I figured that Sue voted for New Directions because she looked kind of upset before she read the winner's name on the card.

I think he's purty, too. Usually not my type, but this actor is sexy. Best of the lot on Glee (until Mr. Dentist joins).

Loved it too, but I was totally expecting it. Thought "this is a TSWL moment" when Mr. Shu was being all Mr. Blue. Then said, "definitely a TSWL moment" when the guy walked into the auditorium to find eveyone lined up on chairs. Great Glee moment! Lea was peerless as usual, and Naya was awesome ... thanks for giving her another spotlight, PTB.

Oh, yes, speaking of Naya -- this: Santana :swoon: Love this character, love the actress's gusto and charisma ... and her voice. Dump Finn (who looked 40 during TSWL) and give the girls -- Santana and Brittany and Terri -- and Chang and the dentist-to-be :swoon: more airtime!

Yeh, another non-surprise. But nice. Actually nothing in this episode surprised me at all, and that's just fine. Enjoyed it much!

 TSWL moment!!! I'm going to start looking for TSWL moments in real life. Not saying I'll burst into song, but you know, maybe just in my head.

I just listened to Bohemian Rhapsody featuring J. Groff on Grooveshark. It is abolutely amazing. I'm blown away by his singing. He's a true talent.

However, every time I hear Bohemian Rhapsody, I have a hard time not thinking of this:

Can't have him, he's mine. ;)

Mine, I tell you! All mine!

This. I have a girlcrush on Santana (and Brittany). Monteith is weak - I dislike his thin singing voice, he can't dance, and he's too old for the part. And he should never, ever, ever again wear chains and do a rap song. :yikes:
