Rio de Janeiro travel

I just made my travel reservations to Rio de Janeiro for March 23 through April 1. Recommendations?

Just got back home today- no one responded to me previously, but I have to say, I LOVED it! I can already imagine what the TV coverage for the Olympics will look like- it is such an amazingly beautiful location. And the people are just wonderful.

Glad you had a nice time. I'd have posted some advice, but I've never been there. Did you stay in the city the whole time, or go around the country?
