Yes, eventually. Quality is sometimes sacrificed for those changes of edge and position. Rewatching Kwan's and Cupcake's 1998 SPs, it was impossible to observe the back position and turnout of the free foot in the sit spin and not miss that attention to detail.

That said, I don't miss Uncle Dick harping on the free leg of a layback in which the back arch and arms were excellent.

I feel like sharing this evening.
