Ingrid Bergman was the best of the four. Autumn Sonata, anyone? I must say that I never cared for early Katharine Hepburn in screwball comedies, but later Hepburn like The Lion in Winter and Long Day's Journey into Night showcased her true strength, which was in dramatic acting.
