Someone's got to have reprinted a copy of Vivaldo's article somewhere. The Internet never forgets. :)

ETA: Yep, here it is (http://www.eurweb.com/?p=71913).
I'm downloading this - thanks.
SO what she's saying is that the network (I assume it was Food Network) forced her to put the Kwanzaa KaKe on the air? I call BS. For no other reason than if Food Network was "dictating" what was going on her show, they would have made it into a lot better show.
She likes to brag about how her own creative input helps her show - there are plenty of articles out there where she talks about doing just that. It is total BS, overedge. She reminds me of Jenny Jones. Jenny used to boast about how much she put into her show, how "in control" she was. Then the Scott Amedure tragedy happened and she changed her tune. Of course, the Kwanzaa Cake is hardly that tragic, but Snads is so trying to cover her tracks now that the cake has made her look like an ass.

I dislike Sandra Lee because alot of her recipes are ...crap. Low income doesn't equal bad or unhealthy cooking,or the entire lack of fresh ingredients. And why does everything have to be decorated? What's wrong with just eating a plate of good food?...I'll stick with Good Eats.:)

Oh, racist Kwanzaa Kake, the only cake I turn up my nose to.

With honorable mention to the Leaning Noel Cake and Ice Cream Baked Potato.

I didn't know she actually baked anything. I thought she just opened cans and slopped things together.

And I think the writers have a point about her sweetie freezing food bank budgets while she's out raising money for them. Which she probably wouldn't be doing anyway if she didn't have a "bake sale cookbook" to pimp.

Sandy is all about that image - hers!

I hope England forgives us after her English Feast today - especially after that idiotic English Pudding Cake that she made with mueslix(!) and flour, then put INto her slllooooooooooow kukker for five hours on high. Once again, she "jerry rigged" the slow cooker with the piece of foil on the bottom of the pot, then she put the bowl in the cooker on high for five hours. Then she made a rum sauce using rum, whipped topping and that damned pumpkin pie spice that she is so obsessed with!

But nothing, nothing prepared me for the cocktail - her version of a "traditional" English hot toddy (http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/sandra-lee/hot-orange-toddy-recipe/index.html) (NSFS - Not Safe for Stomach). It's enough to keep ME on the wagon...and the fabrics for her tablescape were wretched, with medieval prints for her window curtains! I think she threatens to kill her assistants' parents or something to make them find some of this shit.

I'll stop when SHE does.

ETA: I LOVED it when the writer called the Kwanzaa Cake a culinary "Piss Christ"!

Great, now she is launching her own line of "cookware" (http://www.dnainfo.com/20110406/manhattan/first-girlfriend-sandra-lee-cooks-up-kmart-deal) with Kmart and Sears. :yikes:

I guess her biggest selling item will be a can opener.

Does a martini shaker really qualify as "cookware"?

Had an e-mail coupon from B&N today: "Hot celebrities add spice to this month's batch of new cookbooks." Lee's Bake Sale Cookbook was among them. I had half a mind to hit Reply and ask, "Pumpkin pie spice?"

Me thinks Ms. Lee would be better off selling spice packets as her own. Her drink mixes... :scream:
