Someone always manages to act on our good ideas before we do. 35 years ago I pitched to some friends of mine that we should call ourselves "yuppie lifestyle consultants". The idea was to sample every bar and restaurant in NYC and tell yuppies where to go. We could deduct all this bar-hopping and eating out as "business expenses". Sadly, none of my friends took to my idea and then, bam, along came Martha Stewart who got rich, rich, rich telling everyone else how to live.
