Rex, we were going to send out a posse to see if you were stuck in a snowbank somewhere! Just watched Sandy's commercial where she makes some chicken drivel and acts like she is the first person to grow herbs in her kitchen

I've tried, tried, tried to stay away, but Miss Thing won't shut up!!! She is like e-crack!
Sandy's Russipees for Valentine's Day. (http://www.wral.com/entertainment/food_and_restaurants/page/6999820/)
PML - it's all about Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls!
Icing with cream cheese *and* whipped cream???? Why????
Icing with cream cheese *and* whipped cream???? Why????
You got me; a simple cream cheese-based icing with sugar takes minutes to make. She's a fool.

Icing with cream cheese *and* whipped cream???? Why????this is actually the only thing that made any kind of sense, but it does look kinda butt in the pic (http://www.pillsbury.com/Recipes/ShowRecipe.aspx?rid=47857)
At least she made it up.
Variations on the other 2 can be found at Pillsbury.com that are suspiciously similar. I guess I can sorta buy the idea of cinnamon roll french toast, but the watered down icing pour-over seems both coma-inducing and blech at the same time.
and I don't get the semi-ho pecan rolls. Are Bakeries illegal is Wisconsin?
Why go to a fancy-dancy bakery when you can do it the semi-Homemade way? And get to do half the work, save some money and take ALL the credit? berthesghost, I'm disappointed that you don't understand the essence of Sandra .

Check out the nutritional info (and I use the word "nutrition" loosely) on those raspberry cinnamon rolls (from the Pillsbury website):
1 Serving: Calories 660 (Calories from Fat 350); Total Fat 39g (Saturated Fat 16g, Trans Fat 6g); Cholesterol 65mg; Sodium 810mg; Total Carbohydrate 70g (Dietary Fiber 4g, Sugars 36g); Protein 8g
So I guess you serve these to your sweetie on Valentine's Day if you're a young tootsie who wants to give a rich man a heart attack, so you can get all his money. Hmm, I wonder how much money Andrew Cuomo has :EVILLE:

and the french toast (http://www.pillsbury.com/recipes/showrecipe.aspx?rid=47854&tab=nutrition) only 200, so bring on the watered down sugar sauce :encore:

After a few weeks away, my friend decided to try the PBJ martini (http://the-finest-time.livejournal.com/1887.html#cutid1). As part of her experiment, she decided to make her very first PBJ sandwich. Neither part of the experiment was particularly successful.
Next week, she is trying egg nog for the first time, and using it in one of Aunt Sandy's egg nog concoctions.

My nieces watched Grease this afternoon. then I checked in on this thread. So here I go again.
Look at me, I'm Sandra Lee
Rhymes with "triviality"
Won't go on set
Till I'm half-crocked, and yet -
I'm fab, I'm Sandra Lee.
From scratch, you say? No f***ing way -
That's one game this girl won't play!
Now get me a drink -
And it better be pink -
Because I'm Sandra Lee.
I don't dice (No!)
Or mince (No!)
Those techniques make me wince -
A rough chop is as close as I get.
Kick your nice fresh herb
Right back to the curb -
Wouldn't use that crap on a bet!
Although for you I'll char-becue
A steak and p'r'aps a spud or two,
I won't actually cook
I'm a basse cuisine crook -
That's right, I'm Sandra Lee.
Julia! Julia, let me be!
Keep your cookbooks far from me!
All of that work
Would just dampen my perk...
Bottoms up! I'm Sandra Lee!
Nomad, and :respec: Love it!!!!
